Buddy, if you're at all successful, I can't imagine how you got there.

Maybe, you're some sort of criminal. That makes sense.

Slow down there, Buddy. Long ago you established you are stupid! You don't want folks to start thinking you're a moron! :)

Maybe yours, as well.

If I was you I wouldn't bet my first born! :) :)

You're stupid enough, though.

Are you capable of judging "stupid'?

I wouldn't want an electric only car in northern ontario at 20 below....hell not even ten below

I doubt if I'd want one any where, unless it was a place where every hill was down. :) :)

The internal combustion engine evolved our species when there were far fewer of us around but we can't all continue using them in a world with ten billion people living in it.

Many years ago a carburettor was invented that would decimate the amount of fuel consumed, but one of the motor companies bought the patent prohibiting the manufacture of it.

That is a myth.

Even modern fuel injection with near perfect mix ratios and atomization shot directly into the cylinder still won't make a 1972 Chevy 4V 350 get 70mpg like when the myth started.

It wasn't just a myth.It was a mail-order scam. You could order those from an ad on the back of a cheap magazine between the Sea Monkeys and Ben Weider's muscle-building apparatus.

i think you guys misunderstand how a touring motorcycle is used. it is driven all day. an electric motorcycle with a range of 120miles and a promise of 300 miles is not a suitable replacememt for my bike. i like to go out on a weekend and often come back with 1200 kms on the tripmeter.

With variable valve timing and no anti pollution equipment it might. Certainly better than carbs.

Electric streetcars or trollies are likely the best application of an electric vehicle. No batteries. They can run on power supplied by the grid. No refueling issues. And everywhere they go there is power. And if you can get 50-100 people in a vehicle it is better than 1.

They are slow. NFG for going quicker than 50kmh

In the urban mass transit situation, speeds of greater than 50kph are not really required. Buses or cars can go that fast but would rarely have that opportunity in the same setting.

In a city of a couple of million people where a large number of them converge to the same area of the city every day, mass transit is the only option. Subways and trains are impractical to go everywhere so buses & streetcars are the best alternative. There is no practical difference between the crowding on a streetcar vs a bus.

Calgary's Transit is the most used system in Canada and works just fine in any weather.

Rail trolleys are shitty in snow and track isn't cheap.

A bus can go anywhere. Most are CNG and burn clean.
