Speaking of Repubtards:

NASA wanted to talk about science. A congressman wanted to ask about Martian civilizations.

“I ask for permission for one minute for this question,” Rohrabacher said.

It was granted, and he began.

“You have indicated that Mars was totally different thousands of years ago,” he told the scientists.

Behind him, the boy whispered something to a seat mate.

The congressman continued: “Is it possible that there was a civilization on Mars thousands of years ago?”

Silence filled the room,

A scientist with the Mars 2020 project, Kenneth Farley, leaned toward his microphone and ventured a reply.

“So, the evidence is that Mars was different billions of years ago. Not thousands of years ago,” Farley said.

“Billions, well. Yes,” Rohrabacher said.

He began to form another word, but Farley cut him off.

“There's no evidence that I'm aware of.”

The scientist did not mention that he had already explained this half an hour earlier, when he told the panel that ancient Mars once had rivers, lakes and hot springs — but that nothing more advanced than microbes was likely to have lived there.

And yet, Rohrabacher persisted.

“Would you rule that out?” he asked. “See, there's some people, well, anyway … "

“I would say that is extremely unlikely,” Farley said.

“Okay. Well.”

Rohrabacher still had 30 seconds to ask about ancient civilization, but he gave up at that point.

I said back in the day that nothing more advanced than Stromatophorids, Ediacarans or Trilobites could have evolved on Mars. Close enough but ill take that as a win for me. Eat that mother****ers!!!

He'll end up running Homeland Security someday so that he can get to the bottom of the illegal alien problem.

LEXINGTON, Ky. — The Republican Party of Kentucky is denouncing vandalism scrawled on a county GOP office.
WLEX-TV reports that someone scrawled “Nazi Scum” and “Die Nazi!” on the storefront of the Republican Party of Fayette County.
State GOP spokesman Tres Watson says the graffiti is the work of “hate-filled vandals whose only goal is to further divide” people.
Lexington Mayor Jim Gray tweet that the city has no tolerance for vandalism. The Kentucky Democratic Party says in a statement that it denounces hate and racism, but they cannot expect to eradicate it through violent or destructive behaviour.

epublican Senator Rand Paul was the victim of a physical assault in his Kentucky home, suffering minor injuries. The perpetrator, reportedly Paul's neighbor and a registered Democrat, has been arrested.
Rand Paul was "blindsided" by the attacker, his spokeswoman Kelsey Cooper said in a statement. She did not elaborate on the details of the assault or the extent of Paul's injuries, only saying that he was "fine."

An arrest warrant reportedly seen by Politico stated that the altercation, which took place on Friday, left Paul with difficulty breathing as a result of a “possible rib injury.” He is also said to have suffered bleeding from cuts around the mouth, according to the website.

Republican Party 2017: Defending Nazis, Pedophiles, Traitors and Molesters.

MEMBERS ONLY: Brand GOP: Nazis, Pedophiles, Traitors and Molesters

How can it not be when the leader of the party, Trump, is guilty of at least a few of those labels?
Bob CescaNov 11, 2017The Banter Long Read: There's a virus rapidly overtaking the Republican Party. It's called Trumpism, and it's killing the party. Don't get me wrong, I'm perfectly satisfied to see the current Trump-dominated GOP commit slow motion suicide, (hopefully) to be replaced by a party run by Normals from the ranks of the "Never Trump" coalition. I might disagree with these Republican Normals on policy, but in terms of institutions and Trumpism, we're entirely in agreement...thedailybanter.com/2017/11/brand-gop-nazis-pedophiles-traitors/

Millionaires and billionaires to urge Congress not to cut their taxes

More than 400 millionaires and billionaires will reportedly ask Congress not to cut their taxes.
The group, which includes doctors, lawyers and chief executives, plans to send a letter to Congress and ask that their taxes not be cut under the GOP tax overhaul, The Washington Post reported.
The letter asks Congress not to pass a bill that "further exacerbates inequality." It also says the tax bill should not add to the country's debt.
The letter, put together by Responsible Wealth, a network that promotes progressive issues, says the GOP plan should increase taxes on the wealthy. Some people who have signed onto the letter include Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream founders Ben Cohen and Jerry Greenfield, fashion designer Eileen Fisher, billionaire hedge fund manager George Soros and philanthropist Steven Rockefeller.
