Did he get any offers from the CFL?

There were some murmurings about him in the league this year but with the baggage he would bring, none of the teams bit.

He certainly sucks enough to play for the CFL.

Cue the New England Patriot fan - the team that has to cheat and bribe the commish in order to continue their winning ways. Oh, and the NFL sucks.............in case you didn't already know that.

GO CFL!

The CFL is a great place for wash ups who want to play a little more football.

The CFL is a great place for any American player wanting to escape the insanity that is the NFL today. They are able to play a much more intense and exciting game of football and having witnessed the awesomeness of our great country, many decide to stay.

Hey Cliffy...........when was the last time you watched a football game from either side of the border.

Canada is a great place to play when there is no interest or you can't make the NFL. Much like European hockey leagues and the NHL

He would not take the paltry salary he would earn in the CFL .

Definitely. That's why all the best players choose the CFL over the NFL
Yea that's why Joe Kapp left , Warren Moon left , Joe Theisman left , Garcia left , Swervin Mervin left , Doug Flutie left , Adam Bighill left heck even Louie Pasaglia tried out for San Francisco but was to old at the time and stayed .

Thank you for that, Eagle................I simply love having my views pointed out. Surely you weren't silly enough to think that I'd let you attack my beloved CFL without some form of robust retaliatory rhetoric.............did you?

Truth hurts......................don't it.
Sadly the CFL is dying a slow death . There is not much interest in the big metropolitan areas of Vancouver Toronto and Montreal and the younger generations are not supporting the league in numbers great enough to fill the seats .

As a fan of both leagues, I do have to disagree with you there. Most players in CFL are here because they either never got the chance for NFL or didn't make the cut in the NFL. There are some here because their role here would be better in CFL than in NFL. But if you make NFL roster, the money is better and your career path is better so you would go there first.

Not every player who comes from NFL to CFL is a hit either. The game is different and there are a ton of QBs who were good in NFL and can't grasp CFL system or can't exceed at it.

I don't view this as a knock on CFL or NFL. They are different games, different rules and different entertainment. I like that they don't compete head to head except for playoffs so I can usually watch both.

Hey Cliffy...........when was the last time you watched a football game from either side of the border.

It is a miracle how many people who never watch football have become football experts when it comes to Colin K.

There is less interest at high school level due to concussion issues. It's not just the NFL but the high school, college games that go before it. There is nothing different from a concussion in high school vs on NFL field. Actually, in NFL you probably have better equipment so you might have a better shot at minimizing the damage. But no helmet is perfect yet.

It's only a matter of time before schools will not allow participation in the sport. Minor sports associations can't take on the liability. There's still good money in college ball though but I don't think any have been sued yet
