COPENHAGEN — Denmark’s integration minister has caused a stir by publishing a screen grab of a tablet showing a controversial cartoon of the Prophet Muhammad that caused outrage among Muslims around the world in 2006.
After a Danish museum didn’t display the 12 caricatures depicting the Prophet Muhammad in its exhibition on blasphemy, Inger Stoejberg posted a photo of an iPad where the background was a drawing of Muhammad wearing a turban shaped like a bomb with a lit fuse.
Stoejberg wrote Tuesday on Facebook that the cartoons show Denmark is “a free country where opinions are challenged,” adding “we should be proud of the Muhammad cartoons.”
“I have no real comments” about Stoejberg’s Facebook post, Prime Minister Lars Loekke Rasmussen said. “But I’m happy to live in a country where you can have artists making bizarre pieces of art.”
Holger K. Nielsen of the opposition Socialist People’s party urged people on Twitter to ignore Stoejberg.
The drawings first appeared in Denmark’s Jyllands-Posten newspaper in September 2005 to test whether cartoonists would apply self-censorship when asked to portray Muhammad. Although no Danish laws had been violated, they sparked protests four months later in pre-dominantly Muslim countries, where Islamic law generally opposes any depiction of the prophet.
Denmark then became the target of Islamist extremists, and police say they have thwarted a series of terror plots against Denmark. In February 2016, a gunman killed two people and wounded five in attacks on a free-speech event and Copenhagen’s main synagogue.
The three-month exhibition, called Image Storm, opens Friday at a small museum in Viborg, 160 miles (260 kilometres) northwest of Copenhagen, and tells how blasphemy has provoked people since the 16th-century Protestant Reformation.
In a statement, the museum said it had “deliberately chosen not to show” the Muhammad drawings, citing potential security challenges.
“We would like to show that the debate about blasphemy and freedom of expression reaches far beyond the Muhammad crisis,” it said.
The exhibition includes a 1987 photograph by American artist Andres Serrano of a small plastic crucifix submerged in a small glass tank allegedly filled with the artist’s urine.
It also shows a tin can by Italian artist Piero Manzoni filled with 30 grams (1.1 ounce) of human excrement and a jar with parts of a horse by Bjoern Noergaard, a Danish artist who caused a scandal in 1970 by slaughtering a horse.

The Liberal government of Justin Trudeau, which went apoplectic over the mere notion that the Stephen Harperites would yank the Canadian citizenship of a dual citizen convicted of terrorism, now wants to further restrict our security agencies in tracking down and neutralizing threats.

It wants the RCMP, CSIS, and all agencies monitoring national security issues and terrorist activities, to play nicey-nice or face the consequences for colouring outside the guidelines.

It wants them to use the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms as a love-in template, even against those bound and determined on blowing us to kingdom come. It wants to geld them, and don’t think otherwise.

In announcing yesterday the start of an online consultation process for all Canadians to weigh in on how best to neuter the Tories’ Bill C-51, the Anti-terrorism Act, Public Safety Minister Ralph Goodale kept stressing the rights and freedoms offered by the Charter should also be applied to the terrorism file.

Who does this protect? Certainly not the average Canadian who, if not for good intelligence and superior police work, could have been killed in various scenarios just as easily as those recently slaughtered by terrorists in Paris and Brussels.

Did our security agencies play by the rules when they took down the Toronto 18? Or, more recently, did they play it by the Charter book when they recently zeroed in on Aaron Driver in small-town Strathroy, Ont., before he managed to get to a major urban centre with a suicide bomb in his knapsack?

Who cares? What matters to the average Canadian, and to hell with the progressives who argue that even terrorists have full-gamut rights, is that no innocents were killed.

Short of any form of torture, our intelligence and security agencies should not be hog-tied by little red Liberal ribbons decorating the notion that terrorists have Charter rights that cannot be bent in order to save Canadian lives.

While it is all well and good to ask Canadians to go online and assist Goodale’s ministry in helping to define security measures, let’s be real about what it really is. It’s nothing more than a public-relations exercise to give the unjaded the impression of inclusive politics, not as a tool to drill down on policy.

(`Bono` is right-LIE-berals have already made up their minds about suitable security and their `invite` to ordinary Cdns is a whitewash! All other western nations decided decades ago that there would be TWO CLASSES of political protestors. The first class are home grown-Cdn citzens born and raised here with a legitimate grievance of some sort. It is this logic that allows Bloc Quebois separatists to swear to destroy Canada and still be allowed to take their seats as MP`s in parliament!)

(The SECOND CLASS of protestors are those who are either citizens of or visitors to the country who are taking directions and instructions from a foreign power/govt or terror group HOSTILE to Canada. SENSIBLE people-thus excluding LIE-berals-all believe that spies and hostile agents operating in Canada ought to be DISCOURAGED at every opportunity! It is this group of trouble makers who have come from far away that get LESS rights than others in Canada. And it is this group-struggling to destroy Canada as we know it that is getting the benefit of LIE-beral stupidity!)

It wasn’t long into Goodale’s press conference on national security yesterday that it got derailed with an off-topic question from the media about a Canadian who was banned for life from entry into the United States for admitting to having smoked marijuana.

From that point on, the terrorism talk went limp. Pass the doobie.

Video shows woman forcibly removed from Southwest flight

A woman was forcibly removed by police from a Southwest Airlines flight Tuesday after saying she had a life-threatening pet allergy with two dogs on board.*
A fellow passenger, Bill Dumas, recorded the incident, which occurred ahead of a flight from Baltimore to Los Angeles. The woman stated she had a pet allergy but was unable to provide documentation that she could safely fly with the animals on the plane, Southwest said in a statement.

"There was one emotional support animal and one pet onboard the aircraft," the company said. "Our policy states that a customer (without a medical certificate) may be denied boarding if they report a life-threatening allergic reaction and cannot travel safely with an animal onboard."
The video shows police officers grabbing the woman's arms and holding her by the chest as they push her down the aisle of the plane. Southwest said crew members asked the woman to exit the plane several times before asking law enforcement to remove her from the aircraft.
Dumas, who filmed the incident, said he believed officers were following protocol. He said the woman's behavior was "odd" and officers were doing what needed to be done.
Southwest said it was sorry for how the situation was handled.
"We are disheartened by the way this situation unfolded and the customer's removal by local law enforcement officers," the airline said. "We publicly offer our apologies to this Customer for her experience and we will be contacting her directly to address her concerns."

U.S. citizen convicted in 2009 suicide attack in Afghanistan

NEW YORK — A U.S. citizen who joined al-Qaida was convicted Friday of participating in a failed suicide bombing in 2009 at an American military base in Afghanistan.
A federal jury in New York City reached the verdict in the case against Muhanad Mahmoud Al Farekh, originally of Houston.
Farekh’s case drew extra attention because of reports that American officials had initially debated whether to try to kill him in a drone strike, a step almost never taken against U.S. citizens. President Barack Obama’s administration ultimately decided to try for a capture and civilian prosecution instead.
Farekh was captured in Pakistan and brought to the U.S. in 2015.
“Today, an American al-Qaeda member was brought to justice in a U.S. courtroom,” said Bridget Rohde, the acting U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of New York, using an alternate spelling for the militant group. She said he faces the possibility of life in prison for “his efforts to murder Americans and his commitment to one of the world’s most infamous terrorist organizations.”
Most of the charges against Farekh stem from an attack at Forward Operating Base Chapman in Khost City, Afghanistan, on Jan. 19, 2009.
The attackers drove two vehicles rigged with explosives. An initial blast injured several Afghans, including a pregnant woman, but a much larger bomb failed to go off, sparing the lives of American soldiers.
The jury heard testimony about how forensic technicians in Afghanistan recovered 18 of Farekh’s fingerprints on packing tape used to bind the detonators on the unexploded bomb.
The defence argued the forensic evidence was too weak to convict Farekh. In his closing argument, defence attorney Sean Maher called testimony by fingerprint experts “junk science.”
Farekh was convicted of conspiring to murder U.S. nationals, conspiracy to use a weapon of mass destruction, conspiracy to bomb a government facility and conspiracy to provide material support to terrorists.
During the trial, the jury also heard testimony from Zarein Ahmedzay, one of three men convicted in a thwarted plot to bomb the New York City subway system. Ahmedzay told jurors he was trained by an al-Qaida operative identified by prosecutors as a co-conspirator of Farekh’s who travelled with him from Canada to Pakistan in 2007.
Deliberations were briefly interrupted when the judge learned the defendant’s father had encountered four jurors in an elevator and complained to them that he’d been denied direct contact with his son.
The judge decided to replace the jurors with three alternates and ordered the deliberations to continue with a panel of 11 instead of the usual 12.

Oh my- just another instance of the rather twisted Muslim definition of "freedom"! Too many Muslims and WAY too many LIE-berals are convinced they "oppressed" if they do not get their own way!

And apparently a good many Muslims did not realize- when they came here- just how many dogs they would be sharing the public places with! And obviously "service dogs" are NOT common on typical Muslim streets since Muslims are so hostile to the "dirty brutes" under ANY circumstances!

I have said it before and its worth repeating: "Muslim values are so different from our own that it will be a constant source of friction for a VERY LONG TIME TO COME!

The MSN.CA home page had a news article- an interview with a Muslim family- and Dad is in one room talking to a reporter and his 13 year old daughter is in another room with another reporter- and the tv is on in the background- showing figure skating and the Muslim girl thinks it looks like a grand sport to be in- but no word on what tradition bound Dad thinks about HIS daughter cavorting in front of a crowd in one of those skimpy skate costumes! And you know she will have to ditch the burqa and or head scarf as well if she gets into the sport- just another source of friction!

And a few nights back our CBC news did an article with a 15 year old Muslim girl who told the interviewer that she found it much easier to blend and integrate at school once she ditched the head scarf! Wonder what her parents think of that one? And no, the parents did NOT appear on camera!

Listening to Public Safety Minister Ralph Goodale blame Stephen Harper for the fact the Liberals just gave an apology and $10.5 million to Omar Khadr reminds me of listening to Baghdad Bob during the Iraq war.

Baghdad Bob (aka “Comical Ali”) was the Iraqi information minister, Mohammed Saeed al-Sahhaf, who became globally infamous for his daily summations of the war, which had no basis in reality, and which provoked international ridicule every time he spoke.

Goodale — let’s call him “Roaring Ralph” — with an assist from Justice Minister Jody Wilson-Raybould, approached Baghdad Bob levels of disinformation last week as they executed the Trudeau government’s strategy of blaming Harper for the Khadr mess the Liberals created.

“The Harper government refused to repatriate Mr. Khadr or otherwise resolve the matter. They could have, but they didn’t,” Goodale declared.

Except Goodale omitted that in so doing, Harper was merely continuing the policy of the Jean Chretien/Paul Martin Liberal governments from 2002 until they lost power in 2006.

(And WHY should any Cdn WANT to repatriate a proven terrorist with a clear hatred of western values? Oh Khadr is happy to be home now living on welfare and Cdn charity that has to be more comfortable than living in a mud hut or a cave and our charity certainly has to be better than Gitmo prison. But really- how much of the Islamic jihadist fire is still buried in the Khadr mind? Can we EVER fully trust him and do we even want to try? For most Cdns the answer is a FIRM NO!)

The Liberals made no effort to repatriate Khadr. They merely asked the Americans that he not be sent to Guantanamo, and happily dropped the issue when the Americans said no.

The Liberals just wanted the Khadr story to go away because they were embarrassed Chretien had intervened on behalf of Khadr’s terrorist father, Ahmed Said Khadr, in 1996, when he was being held on suspicion of terrorism in Pakistan.

Following Chretien’s request that Ahmed Khadr be treated fairly, Pakistan Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto released him, whereupon he returned to Canada and soon after moved his family to Pakistan, where Omar began his terrorist training under the Taliban and the elder Khadr’s confidante, Osama bin Laden.

(Of course papa Khdr got into Canada in the first place after LIE-beral Chretien invited the Italians to release bomb maker Papa Khadr from the JAIL they had him locked up in for blowing people up! Papa Khadr was only too have to come to Canada and sire 3 sons and several daughters that Our idiot Boy Justin says we cannot deport! Why a LIE-beral would want anything to do with these people is a complete mystery- and probably a sign of mental instability!)

Wilson-Raybould said the Khadr settlement showed “rights are not subject to the whims of the government of the day.” Except she omitted “the government of the day,” which the Supreme Court of Canada ruled in 2010 had violated Khadr’s rights, was the Chretien-Martin government.

Why? Because it twice sent interrogators to question Khadr in Guantanamo in 2003 and 2004, and shared the information they obtained with his American captors, knowing they had used sleep deprivation to try and get Khadr to crack.

Someone should remind Goodale and Wilson-Raybould that Khadr was repatriated in 2012, under the Harper government, however reluctantly, while the Chretien/Martin government made no attempt to repatriate him from 2002 to 2006.

(It’s the usual LIE-beral hypocrisy- why let FACTS get in the way of a good story? Especially if the FAKE NEWS makes LIE-berals look better!)

And that the 2010 Supreme Court decision did not require the Trudeau Liberals to reach the settlement with Khadr they announced last week, nor did it require the Harper government to try to repatriate Khadr.

The Trudeau government was free to defend itself against Khadr’s $20-million civil suit for violating his Charter rights, something many Canadians would have preferred, even if it meant a higher court-imposed award than the $10.5 million the Liberals handed him.

(If LIE-berals or their hug a thug judges truly believe that they were legally obligated under our Charter to reward Khadr in this way then either there is something SERIOUSLY wrong with the training of our senior judges or there is some major flaw in our Charter or BOTH! How any Cdn can believe that Khadr is owed anything after voluntarily leaving Canada, fighting with a foreign army in another country- against Cdn allies and then getting captured and imprisoned by foreigners should be seen as a sign of madness in any Cdn friendly to Khadr!)

(If Khadr feels he is owed something then let him seek it from his vile mother who aided his father to indoctrinate him as a child soldier and then let him travel across the world to join an army fighting against Canada! Or let Khadr seek redress from the Taliban that he made bombs for! Or best of all- let him sue the Yankees who shot him and imprisoned him- but I do ask that if Khadr wants to sue the Yankees then PLEASE do us a favour-after all you do owe us something for the $10 million- and alert the camera people at Americas Funniest Home Videos! Watching Khadr explain exactly how the west has mistreated him should be good for HUGE laughs!)

Canadians who believe Khadr was a child soldier forced into terrorism by his father and that he should never have been sent to Guantanamo can legitimately criticize Harper for failing to act with any urgency on his behalf, just as Chretien and Martin failed to do before him.

But the hypocritical Liberals, who only started caring about Khadr’s rights after Harper defeated them in 2006, have zero credibility on this issue. None.

Toronto school board recalls, revises controversial Islamic guidebook

The Toronto District School Board is temporarily pulling an Islamic Heritage Month guidebook following complaints from Jewish advocacy group B’nai Brith Canada, the Toronto Sun has learned.
The book, as I described in a recent column, is a robust 170-page document that encourages a great deal of religious intrusion in a classroom setting that’s otherwise supposed to be a non-religious environment.
The recommendations include reciting and explaining the Muslim greeting “As-salamu alaykum” (peace be upon you) alongside the singing of O Canada and inviting children to visit a local mosque. It also includes templates of famous mosques around the world for children to construct during cut and paste exercises.
But it’s the guide’s alarming definition of Islamophobia that has caught the attention of the leading Jewish advocacy group. The school board’s guide defines the term as “fear, prejudice, hatred of dislike directed against Islam or Muslims, or towards Islamic politics or culture.”
“The TDSB definition, if enforced, could lead to punishment for students or teachers who display “dislike” towards the persecution of LGBTQ people in the Islamic Republic of Iran, harsh restrictions on women in Saudi Arabia, and Palestinian terrorism against Israelis, all of which are examples of “Islamic politics,” an earlier press release from B’nai Brith Canada says.
The organization contacted the TDSB Monday morning and by the afternoon the school board had committed to pulling the online guidebook until they revised the definition of Islamophobia, according to B’nai Brith Canada.
“A link to the resource guide was provided to school administrators across the system,” TDSB spokesperson Ryan Bird told the Sun. “A revised version with an edited definition of Islamophobia will be available online shortly.”
It’s unclear if they plan to revise or remove any of the other controversial aspects of the guide.
“There are many students in Toronto schools who have come to Canada fleeing persecution from countries like Iran, Pakistan or Saudi Arabia — and now the TDSB is telling them to stay silent about what they’ve suffered. It’s simply ludicrous,” B’nai Brith Canada CEO Michael Mostyn said in the earlier press release. They’ve since issued another release thanking the board for swift action on the issue.
The House of Commons heritage committee is currently engaged in a study of Islamophobia and other forms of prejudice following the passing of the controversial M-103. The committee has yet to offer an agreed upon definition of the ill-defined term.
However, a former RCMP and CSIS officer did deliver testimony recommending that Canadians whose comments on Islam “go too far” should face some form of prosecution.

On Monday, Amnesty International called for the “immediate” and “unconditional” release of all people arrested since a Sept 22 concert in Cairo in which an LGBT flag was raised, an incident that sparked the ongoing crackdown.
In a statement, Amnesty said at least five of those arrested were subjected to anal examinations to determine whether they were engaged in same-sex sexual relations, a practice it said amounted to torture and was scientifically unsound.
“The authorities must urgently halt this ruthless crackdown and release all those arrested immediately and unconditionally,” said Najia Bounaim, Amnesty’s North Africa campaigns director.
The group that played in the Sept. 22 concert — Lebanese indie rock band Mashrou’ Leila whose lead singer is openly gay — condemned the crackdown in a statement posted on its Facebook page Tuesday. Calling it a witch hunt, it said all those detained must be released and international pressure put on Egyptian authorities to halt the crackdown.

Some people seem to think it is strange or odd when Muslims slam gays? Its not as if Muslims have been sending mixed messages! An Imam in Calgary recently explained the circumstances under which the Quran authorizes Muslims to kill gays so they will not sin in future! These Muslims are being treated like the saviours of the LIE-beral party by their best new friend Justin- the self professed rabid feminist and staunch defender of Muslim religious rights that seem to include female genital mutilation and the fine old sport of wife beating if she so much as steps out the door into the sunshine with permission of hubby! TORONTO - Hindus from across Toronto plan to protest outside a North York middle school until a controversial Friday prayer session for 400 Muslim students is stopped.

The Canadian Hindu Advocacy is one of a number of Toronto-area groups who are opposed to the 30- to 40-minute services that occurred in the cafeteria of Valley Park Middle School on Overlea Blvd. from November to March.

An imam from a local mosque is brought to school to head the service, officials said. During the service male students are made to sit in front of the girls.

“This is alarming and unacceptable,” said Advocacy director Ron Banerjee. “We respect the separation of church and state.”

He said his group will be sending letters of protest to the Toronto District School Board in the next few days and calling for an end of the noon-time services. That will be followed by protests in November, when the services resume, if the prayers are to continue next school year.

“There’s not supposed to be any religious classes taking place in public schools,” Banerjee said. “We will be asking the board to stop the practice.”

He said school officials stopped students from reciting the Lord’s Prayers years ago and his group will picket the Muslim classes if the practice isn’t stopped.

“Our organization has received many complaints from Hindu students and parents in the Valley Park Middle School region,” Banerjee said.

He said his group would like to begin a discussion with TDSB authorities aimed at restoring secular education within the school system.

“We would also like to discuss the serving of halal meat within TDSB schools,” he said. “Our organization is determined to ensure all Hindu students are provided non-halal meat alternatives.”

(Halal meat is produced by following Islamic instructions in which the animal has its throat cut and is allowed to bleed to death. The animal is fully conscious at the time of the throat cutting and will take time to pass out from blood loss. This in sharp contrast to standard Cdn meat preparation in which an animal is electrocuted or clubbed on the head to produce instant death- or at least render the animal unconscious so it will not feel anything further. Clearly, Hindus are disturbed by the Halal method of producing meat.)

(Considering the cost to bring Muslim refugees here and then to train and educate them so they will have a chance to survive on their own in our society, along with the long term and very massive security risks that Muslims present, one has to wonder whether it is a good idea to import such numbers of such difficult people? How sad that Muslims cannot send their kids to school without causing hostility and debate over prayers in school and over their treatment of women. Now it seems that Muslims cannot even eat a meal without stirring controversy because they are throwing out most of our laws on animal welfare in the process?)

Area resident Khalid Sheikh, who claims to be president of Parents For School Not for Political Parties, said local school councils have been “hijacked and controlled” by Muslim groups and political parties.

Area trustee Gerri Gershon said “there are many tensions within the community.

“The school should not be focused on these tensions and politics but have a wide representation of young people,” Gershon said.

(And this comment by Gershon is LIE-beral speak for: “shut up and go away since we don’t need or care for the opinions of people who don’t vote for us and we intend to do as we think is necessary for LIE-beral benefit”!)

She said the program began after discussions with parents, community leaders and the school administration.

Malcolm Buchanan, of Civil Rights in Public Education, said he has no problems with the Muslim prayer service as long as it doesn’t take place while classes are in session.

“Schools are for learning and not religious ideology,” said Buchanan. “We have no problems as long as it doesn’t take place during school time or the kids are not forced to take part.”

TDSB officials said on Monday the prayer sessions have been taking place for three years and are designed to help with the safety of students, who do not have to leave school to attend mosque.

The officials said the prayer sessions are working well and they haven’t been approached about making changes.

(Oh of course the prayer session are working nicely- after all the only people who are unhappy are those who don’t like LIE-berals to begin with! So what LIE-beral would acknowledge a complaint from such a person?)

There are two things I don't like about this post- first WHY IN HELL is a young woman heading off into ISIS territory- KNOWING how they feel about women?

SEcondly- while I am delighted that a clown who abused a Cdn citizen- a stupid citizen at that- ended up getting punished- but lets consider some details here:

First- we have some very clever cops on the case- if the dumb broad had chased a story closer to home she would not have got into trouble!

Second- just how much did it cost to get that Muslim dog over here? if all radical Muslims were quarantined like the political disease they are then we would have no trouble with them- no contact equals no trouble!

Third- how much will it cost to keep the Muslim kidnapper in jail in Canada? Its currently 150 grand per year without counting inflation!

Its nice the idiot broad wants to make a name for herself as a journalist but are there not various laws preventing idiots from doing hugely dangerous things- such as dangling attractive young women in front of Isis horn dogs who are known for their habit of forcing infidel women into sexual slavery!

Its one thing to be an accredited journalist embedded with western troops and its quite another to be wandering around on your own like the dizzy broad above!

The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports that Dorsa Derakhshani is now at a freshman at the Missouri school, which has a new but highly ranked chess team of top international players. The biology major decided to accept a full scholarship to play for the university this spring, in the wake of the controversy.
Issues arose when Derakhshani wore a simple headband during a February competition in Gibraltar. She was competing under the oversight of the Iranian Chess Federation, an affiliation that allowed her to enter several championship-cycle tournaments. Iranian law requires women to wear head scarves in public, but she didn’t think it would be a problem.
“I don’t know why some people have enough free time to worry about what I wear,” Derakhshani said.
She was 18 when she moved to Barcelona, Spain, and recruited by a chess club. She declined to be on Iran’s national team sponsored by the government because she didn’t want to be controlled by the rules of the team, including wearing a head scarf even while outside Iran.
But days after the Gibraltar tournament, the head of the Iranian Chess Federation said Derakhshani and her 14-year-old brother could no longer play in the country or under Iran’s name. He cited Derakhshani’s refusal to wear a head scarf and said her brother had played against an Israeli player. Iran doesn’t recognize Israel and has a policy of not competing against Israeli athletes.
Derakhshani said her brother was paired by a computer and didn’t know the player’s nationality before the match.
“It was just cruel,” she said. “He was just a kid. He didn’t know what to do.”
Her arrival in St. Louis comes as the city becomes a major player in the chess community. The Chess Club and Scholastic Center of St. Louis, founded by Republican millionaire activist Rex Sinquefield, hosts several national competitions.
Derakhshani said she wants to become a grandmaster, the top designation for a chess player.

Oh well....we all know Muslims are NUTS! But at least this woman sounds intelligent enough to make her own way in life and will n ot be running across our border seeking welfare?

Here is an article illustrating that not all people are as comfortable with Muslim attitudes towards women as our LIE-beral govt. It also illustrates that some govts have recognized that one easy way to limit the number of radicals coming into the country is to LIBERATE women from the more draconian portions of Sharia Law!

Radical Muslims with their rabid anti female attitudes are less likely to immigrate to places where their women will be expected to regularly “expose” themselves in the same disgusting fashion as western “shameless sluts”! And radical Muslim men will certainly NOT wish to end up divorced under western laws when Sharia is so much preferable to such men! This is a simple solution to weed out the most extreme Muslim radicals seeking to come to Canada.

We already have laws in place to ensure proper identification of people when in court or doing business in assorted govt offices and there is NO reason why we should not expect Muslim women to reveal themselves/remove the Burqa when employed by govt or when testifying in court or passing through airport security etc as it is behaviour that is expected of ALL CDNS and thus cannot be discriminatory!

There was also an interesting article in the Toronto news recently about an under age BOY being used as a test subject-the kid was dressed in a Burqa and sent off with money in hand to purchase alcohol at various local LCBO outlets. And NOT ONCE was the under age boy challenged over his age or gender and certainly was NOT asked for ID during shopping trips to multiple LCBO outlets!

And why would an LCBO employee bother asking for Id when anybody or anything could be under the Burqa. ID is useless unless there is an actual face to go with the documents and who wants to get into a dog fight with a Muslim broad who thinks you have insulted her and her religion by demanding that she/he/it proves she is entitled to buy alcohol! It just adds insult to injury that Muslims DON’T DRINK alcohol as Quran prohibits this so what was the Burqa clad figure doing in LCBO anyway?

VIENNA — An Austrian law that forbids any kind of full-face covering including Islamic veils has claimed an unusual victim — a man wearing a shark suit.
Police say they issued a citation Monday after the man — part of a street advertising campaign for the McShark computer chain stores — refused several requests to take off his shark head.
In effect this month, most full face coverings are prohibited in public in Austria, including off-slope ski masks, surgical masks outside hospitals and party masks on the street. Popularly known as the “burqa ban,” the law is mostly seen as directed at the clothing worn by some ultra-conservative Muslim women.
Violations carry a possible fine of 150 euros ($221). Only a handful of citations have been issued.
