It doesn't give it credibility when they misrepresent it.
Using the stats that Khalid referred to, it's easy to see that Muslims are not the most persecuted people in Canada, by a long shot.
Khalid also stated that over a three year period, reported hate crimes against Muslims doubled. Yet reported hate crimes against White people increased 2.5X over the same period, almost commensurate with the increase in Muslims in Canada.
This motion is not credible because it's a duplicitous document. You don't even have to do any heavy or deep digging to see the duplicity, if you're not choosing to be willingly blind that is. Just look at the stats Khalid referred to and the lie becomes blatantly obvious.

Your facts don't seem to be very important. The reality as to whether an immigrant is 'useless' depends on how well they adapt to Canada, and whether they are economically self-supporting.
A couple of years back the government, or rather, the immigration department, did a study on which areas of the world produce our most economically successful immigrants, and which produce the LEAST economically successful.
India was on that first list. So was the Philippines. The top countries, of course, were from Europe.
The least economically successful should surprise no one. They were immigrants from the middle east and north Africa. Next worst, China. Sorry, people who think all the Chinese immigrants are high tech workers. They're not.
My question, then. Why are we not taking more people from the top of the list and less people from the bottom?
Well that's part of the "must do" list but it's not everything a good immigrant must do plus it does not include the things a good immigrant "should do".
For instance, immigrants have a role to play to defend this country from harm and to seek ways to contribute to building this country beyound just looking after ones self and adapting. If this is all the original settlers did, then today we would still be a sh^thole country like India.
Gotta use your head a bit and look beyound what one has to do to survive in Canada to live off those who have given so much and built such great institutions.
