Re: Trump's Executive Order Remains in Place

There are a lot of Canadians who would feel more secure and less angry if our government would stop giving borrowed money away to help foreign countries instead of spending it on our own people.

That encapsulates a lot of it right there!

Americans aren't stupid. There is something called impeachment.

Is impeachment particularly daunting? Hasn't been in most cases I've heard of!

I guess you have never heard of Richard Nixon.

Silly Boy! I believe if memory serves me correctly that Nixon was never impeached. He quit first! Perhaps if you check into it you will find the two presidents to be impeached were Slick Willy and James Buchanan.

I'm sure the media will help reign-in the retards who are visibly upset, to help calm the prog-left consumers of their bile by reminding them that Trump just carried the obama ball a little further on this order.

or not.

the media.

your moral and intellectual superiors.

Of course we wouldn't. We had to hear it in here daily during the Bush years. Liberals in Canada were begging to be invaded!

The old fogeys and racists are beginning to make themselves heard. Liberal support is slipping, attack on Mosque evident of the backlash from Trudeau's hearty public welcome to refugees.
Quebec is a Catholic Province - not overly friendly to Muslims.

Americans aren't stupid.
They elected Trump.

There is something called impeachment.
Which is not, in point of fact, a recall for an unpopular President. Read the Constitution. The President can only be impeached for "Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors." U.S. Const., Art. II, sec. 4. An unpopular executive order (even if it is unpopular, there have been no polls on it yet) is none of those.

I don't understand those calling for Trump's impeachment. Don't they understand what impeachment is all about?

Do you understand a rhetorical question?
Depends on how it's phrased. For example, if you were to rhetorically ask "Where geese calibrate metric tsunamis under poutine?" I wouldn't understand at all.

I think you meant "Do you understand what a rhetorical question is?"

N'est-ce pas?

DHS Announces Further Travel Restrictions for the Visa Waiver Program
Release Date: February 18, 2016
For Immediate Release
DHS Press Office
Contact: 202-282-8010

WASHINGTON—The Department of Homeland Security today announced that it is continuing its implementation of the Visa Waiver Program Improvement and Terrorist Travel Prevention Act of 2015 with the addition of Libya, Somalia, and Yemen as three countries of concern, limiting Visa Waiver Program travel for certain individuals who have traveled to these countries.

Pursuant to the Act, the Secretary of Homeland Security had sixty days to determine whether additional countries or areas of concern should be subject to the travel or dual nationality restrictions under the Act. After careful consideration, and in consultation with the Director of National Intelligence and the Secretary of State, the Secretary of Homeland Security has determined that Libya, Somalia, and Yemen be included as countries of concern, specifically for individuals who have traveled to these countries since March 1, 2011. At this time, the restriction on Visa Waiver Program travel will not apply to dual nationals of these three countries. DHS continues to consult with the Department of State and the Office of the Director of National Intelligence to develop further criteria to determine whether other countries would be added to this list.

Heads are exploding.

One snowflake protester said she felt like they were toothpicks in front of a bulldozer.

They have no clue. Heck they don't even know who's been impeached and who hasn't.

Trump always doubles down when under attack. He adjusts, recalibrates based on results, but always presses on. Everyone should realized that he won't be badgered by the phony and hypocritical outrage of the Liberal establishment. In fact he moves so quickly and on so many fronts that his opposition can't organize their attack on a single target. Tomorrow they'll have to start dividing their attention to the Pro Life Supreme Court nominee. In the long run, Trump usually wins.
