we need the equivalent of a birther movement to compel Trump to disclose those tax returns!
you mean like the one started by hillary clinton's aid Sidney Blumenthal when they wanted to derail OBOMBER in the original primaries?

re:

for starters
the DNC was not hacked - the stuff was leaked
there is one hell of a big difference
...and if it was so hard to call how come a dummy like me could see it from the start that trump would win...well, I also saw from the start obama was the selected one, and gwb before that?

sadly there is a real information disconnect going on in general
( I don't mean you lol, you are pretty sharp )
and that disconnect does not bode well for the future
One man Is NOT going to fix that

Union leaders say they're looking forward to working with Pres Trump: "The respect [he] just showed us... was nothing short of incredible."

https://twitter.com/foxandfriends/status/823651540678234112

Trump has worked with trade unions in New York for decades. They put up his buildings. He knows how to deal with them from a position of mutual respect. This should not be a surprise to anyone. He's never had problems with union workers, it's always been the Democrat union leaders who have been political adversaries, but they put that aside to get jobs for their members.

It has been fairly well-documented that Trump is exceptionally good at small meetings. Even Chris Matthews - who has known trump for thirty years admits as much. apparently he is very positive, an excellent listener, a natural at appreciative inquiry and no surprise very effective at getting to a consensus/agreement. An executive's executive...

praise kek.

It's impossible to understand the displeasure of so many for President Trump until and unless you take into account the brainwashing done by the main stream media. They hate him with exactly the same ammount and quality of factual information that determines thier choice of breakfast cereal.

How many presidents' popularity has been measured after two days?

What? After two days of being in power? Give ME a break! :)

You've had all the breaks you're going to get. Did you miss the massive anti-Dumpster demonstrations? No president in US history has ever faced such strong opposition so early in his presidency. Mid-term election are only 21 months away and I'm guessing many of the GOP members of Congress are wondering just how far they should stick their necks out for this orange-faced clown.

Approval rating 57%.

They libtards can demonstrate and burn down their liberal cities for the next four years for all I care! In fact... I encourage them to. Do you think flyover states care when they see D.C., San Francisco, etc. burn?

They better not march into the rural areas though.

I bet you don't even know how many GOP seats are up for grab in vulnerable states. I bet you have no clue whatsoever.

Here... I'll help.

That's a tough read BarSinister isn't it? Are you scratching your head saying "Da hell?".

Oh and the Liberals better hope 83 year old SJC Ruth Bader Ginsberg can hang on for at least 4 more years.

Everyone is witnessing the art of the deal.

There really hasn't been time to see how Trump will handle lobbyists. Love him or hate him, he's fascinating to watch.

Trump's government gag order blocks agencies from talking to Congress
First the National Park Service was banned from using social media because one Park Service Twitter account dared to retweet images showing Trump’s less-than-stellar inaugural crowd. Then the EPA was blocked from all forms of external communication. The research arm of the USDA was the next to go behind the Trump Curtain. And it seems that this glittery gilt wall of silence is not just spreading, but even cutting off communication with Congress.
Multiple federal agencies have told their employees to cease communications with members of Congress and the press, sources have told The Huffington Post.
The freeze has startled aides on the Hill and people at those agencies, who worry that it could abruptly upend current operations and stifle work and discussions that routinely take place between branches of government.
Behind the Trump Curtain, science is being stiffed, grants are being halted, and programs that are dependent on communication with state and local officials are being frozen.

John Doyle: A necessary one-hour primer on how Trump became President

It only takes an hour. Eighteen months distilled to a one-hour narrative. It won’t tell you why it happened. Not outright, anyway. It will remind you what happened step by step by step.

Frontline: Trump’s Road to the White House (Tuesday, PBS, 10 p.m.) tells you such things as this:

I wonder if it's occurred to anyone that the only one who knows how Trump became president is Trump! He obviously knew what he was doing OR was listening to someone else who did. :) :)

Absolutely, Murphy.

I watched Frontline's 'Trumps Road to the White House' tonight then followed up by going to the website and reading in depth interviews with people intimately involved in both campaigns, news people and political observers who participated in the documentary. Really fascinating stuff for students of political history. Trump's writing a brand new book and the unpredictability of what will fill it's many chapters will keep readers engaged in the days and months to come. It could be a page burner.

I hear he's off to sign a bundle of executive orders that will deal primarily with immigration and border security tomorrow. Should be a very interesting news day - again.

You are ignoring history. It doesn't matter what the numbers in Congress are. If the President loses the support of the population then he becomes a lame duck. If he losses complete support he becomes a George Bush Sr. or a Jimmy Carter. Nixon, Carter, Clinton, Bush, and Obama were all hamstrung in their presidencies once their support dropped below 40%. The Dumpster is already there and members of the GOP are already criticizing some of his comments. And I'm not sure where you got that 57% approval rating. No one else has a number that high.

Those "massive anti- Dumpster demonstrations were attended by fewer than 1% of the population & by the looks of Madonna not the brightest 1% of the population. Don't be fooled by all the rhetoric. Not too many intelligent people have been impressed by all of it. :) :)

It was a highly entertaining look back at how badly the Republican party got caught in their own hubris and belief that it would have the final say. It was fascinating to see how timing played a crucial role in the campaign. An example being the release of the locker room chat which ruled the airwaves for barely a day before news broke about the leaked emails and how their release was manipulated over days which kept it as the top news story as the locker room one dropped off the radar. That alone was a pivotal moment that saw Clinton come out the loser while Trump's numbers rose again.

When you are in a campaign, JLM everyone around is involved in trying to win the election. Trump did not do this by himself. He had lots of very reliable efficient help along the way.

Pres Trump signs orders on immigration from nations with Islamic Terror

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - President Donald Trump was expected to sign several executive orders restricting immigration on Wednesday, at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, according to several congressional aides and immigration experts briefed on the matter.

Trump's orders were expected to involve restricting access to the United States for refugees and some visa holders from Iraq, Iran, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Syria and Yemen, said the aides and experts, who asked not to be identified.

You are starting to sound like the Dumpster. He seems to think that the numbers matter, and I'm guessing that if you took an IQ score among the demonstrators it would average higher than that of the people who voted for him. I suspect the Dumpster is quite upset that almost no one came out to demonstrate in his favour. If he was not dismayed by the numbers why does he continue to lie about it? The Dumpster's life history shows us that he is pretty much about show and not performance and the demonstrations were a pretty big show.
