Thnx for the heads up JLM but I don't want to leave him guessing so I'll try and simplify....

In a nutshell I can't equate justin with work here or on the road, spending others folks money is childs' play whereas scrutinizing gov budgets to trim waste is work. He luvs to $$pend, in that regard he's enlisted climate change as a revenue tool for gov, more to spend.
Sophie of course needs a regular break from house work and child rearing drudge so their jaunts accommodate and stroke her ego.
His nomad work ethic needs no explanation imo, suffice to say I am not a fan of this regal pair.

gerryh spelled out the crux of the matter: Obviously, he didn't feel that his fellow Canadians were worth his time.

He spent his holidays with Aga Khan, leader of the Muslim Nizari Ismaili, which is a modern sect of Islam. If I was a believer of the Muslim faith, this is the one I would follow.

Perhaps childish to bemoan our collective naivety in crowning this self serving dud as our leader but the child within me is on board so we chose to express our frusration with this twerp even if viewed as childish.

Get used to it. Until the Conservative Party muzzles the social conservative nutters, the typical Canadian will look for an alternative. Trudeau, like Trump got elected because of incompetence on the other side.

Alberta is another prime example. We went from Klein to Notley in 10 years. The electorate didn't change that much. The Consevatives blew it.

Trudeau has the right to take his family, in-laws and friends wherever he wants during his vacation time (wonder who the friends were )??. The issue I have is not the vacation, it's the fact that he went to Aga Khan's private island. This is a conflicted of interest, 100%. Aga Khan has received approx. $300 million from the Canadian Government for FOREIGN aid programs. JT approved another $55 millions to the Khan for assisting Afghanistan families. The Lib's also contributed $30 million towards the construction of the Aga Khan Foundation in Ottawa. I would assume that this money is not to assist a variety of different culture, but only one? Shia's perhaps? This is a thank you Trudeau for your generosity, welcome to my chateau, eat caviar, drink champagne and enjoy yourself, but please remember........where the hell is our ethics committee??? Aga Khan is in direct competition with Canadian Charitable Organizations.
