PS. When are you coming to the farm for basic training? 7sq miles of "was that thunder?"

PPS don't laugh but Chemistry 101.X of the farm diploma prequires consistent, clean, high Amp DC try l precipitate weapons grade oxidizers from tragically simplistic household salts.

there go the stake knifes

...not to mention that one thing all these killings have in common is that no matter the weapon
they are all held and operated by hands

ban those and that will fix all the problems

Automobiles in the United States kill way more people than guns. Only a retard like flossy cannot understand that type of death i guess.

The more people abuse freedom, the greater the case is made for taking it away.

If Americans want to handle firearms like children instead of responsible adults, then they will be treated like children and their toys will be taken away from them.

Same for their cars, right.......YOU HAVE NEVER COMMITTED A TRAFFIC OFFENSE I ASSUME.

This is unimaginable.

The AR-15, the gun behind some of the worst mass shootings in America, explained

Some of the worst mass shootings, the ones that turn the names of American towns into a universal shorthand for tragedy, have all used similar guns: versions of the AR-15 assault rifle.

The 20 children and six adults who died in Newtown were killed, in part, by a version of the AR-15. So were the 12 who died in an Aurora, Colorado, movie theater. So were the 14 who died in San Bernardino.

After Sunday's shooting in Orlando, carried out with the Sig Sauer MCX, a military-style assault rifle that looks much like the AR-15, calls to ban the AR-15 are surging. The Boston Globe described it as “mass shooters’ weapon of choice." The New York Daily News called it “a mass murderer’s best friend.”

The AR-15 has come to stand in for an entire category of military-style assault rifles developed for combat that many believe have no place in civilian life. The irony is that the outrage will almost certainly boost AR-15 sales. Historically, the more the AR-15 and other assault weapons are criticized, the more guns their supporters buy. And the more AR-15s there are in American hands, the harder it gets to regulate them, both politically and practically.

Again, a misuse of the term "assault" weapon. Assault weapons are full automatic, or can be switched between full and semi. Both the ar15 and the sig sauer are semi automatics only.

here is the problem with that MF

"Orlando Shooter Did Not Use An AR-15, But Who Cares. A Narrative Is Building"
Orlando Shooter Did Not Use An AR-15, But Who Cares. A Narrative Is Building | RedState

The mistaken reporting of the ar 15 for the sig is not accidental, and that inaccuracy is typical of the agendization, and is also possibly a sign of a false flag narrative, of these tragidies

the sig used was a 308?
again it makes one wonder how this guy could shoot it with a pistol and a phone in his hands at the same time

fun fact: assault rifles (weapons) are fully automatic. but anyway.

Another fun fact. It is very simple to convert a semi automatic into a fully automatic.

For once I agree with Floss, civilians do not need semi automatic weapons or assault rifles. There are far too many weapons available in the US and it is obvious that they keep getting into the wrong hands. I have trained on and fired a wide array of weapons and I see no acceptable need for a civilian to have anything other than a rifle for hunting or a personal handgun for protection.

The argument for having these weapons is simply want not need.

After operation fast and furious where the US gov was busted arming the cartels with full auto, as a step to disarming the peeps, we know how they get into the wrong hands.
Which is why the problem with trusting government or any of it employees past present or future to disarm the peeps

government is the leading killer of people, ( its called democide) and one just has to look at all the places in the world where the peeps need guns because of someone else's government
like say mexico where the us armed cartels have wasted whole villages of unarmed peons

But conversion is not what we're talking about and it's not the narrative being pushed by jumpy progs.

Rifles are NOT 'assault' weapons.

That is a political term.

You fire as fast as you can pull. Just like my old Ruger 10/22 with large magazine could.

Then we can all talk about magazine capacities again too. Ans 'assault knives' like that latest british snackbar killing the cop.

As for this particular massacre though:

You could have just used any firearm and hit people indiscriminately wearing a blindfold at that packed gay bar. Look at what Cho did at the Virginia Tech massacre. He chain-locked the exits in one of the buildings before he started shooting, trapping people inside and preventing people from escaping or cops coming in so he could hunt victims room to room.

Cho used a Glock 19 (9mm) and a Walther's P22 (.22 LR pistol), relatively weak firepower compared to a shot gun or a high velocity 5.56mm Nato round in a carbine length barrel.

There are many variables, the AR15 just isn't even responsible for 1 percentage as a cause of the 8000 or so firearms homicide in the country. More people are killed yearly by hands and feet as weapons than an AR15.

anyway, 'assault weapons'.

Maybe that radical in France would have killed 80 instead of two had he been properly armed with the right carbine. It's tough to commit nass murder with steak knives.

Actually, it's about the same, neighborhood of 33,000 a year for each, recently.

It is strange to see a country in which one weapon is discussed. In more advanced countries the discussions are about banning all guns.

No. I don't like being upside down.
K, I'll wait til somebody who knows what he's talking about wanders by.

Nice trick, though. Saying "other countries are more advanced than the U.S. because they've banned guns, defining 'advanced' as banning guns." Might coulda worked on some of our dimmer lights.

As long as the government has assault rifles the populace needs them as well.
Why not pass laws saying that all Americans must carry an assault rifle if they are 6 years old or older. No exceptions. If everyone has a gun, then they can defend themselves and nobody gets hurt. Is that not the thinking of the National Rifle Association.

No, it isn't. And most folk hereabouts have advanced considerably beyond the false dichotomy into some of the more sophisticated logical fallacies to support their positions.

Gonna have to up your game.
