Seeing as how you gave it such a good hard look, I assume you're aware that long guns of all types are used in less than 5% of the homicides in the U.S.?

If a particular gun is making a trend of significant death that people are not comfortable with, and getting rid of that particular gun clearly reduces significant harm, then we need to consider getting rid of that gun.
Well, I suggest that Canada make its decision based on the answer to that question.
