Somebody should give the IDF some maps and a compass as they seem to have a hard time reacting to these incidents in a logical fashion. A rocket from southern Gaza lands in the desert so the retaliation is to bomb 20 targets in Northern Gaza. In this instance the retaliation is being felt by some people who live in the West Bank. Pretty much puts the root cause as being as close to pure bull sh*t as you can get. (2 additional means 2 more than are already there for the hard of understanding) Luckily there is some vid of the incident, right. (unlike all those knife attacks)

Israel to Send Hundreds More Troops to West Bank after Tel Aviv Attack — Naharnet
Israel's military will deploy hundreds more troops to the occupied West Bank following an attack in Tel Aviv that saw two Palestinians open fire at a cafe, killing four people, the army said Thursday.
"In accordance with situation assessments, the Judea and Samaria (West Bank) Division will be reinforced by two additional battalions," Israel's military said in a statement.

UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon has admitted that his decision to remove the Saudi-led coalition in Yemen from the organization's blacklist came after threats from a number of countries. Human rights groups are urging him to backtrack on the decision.
Ban said on Thursday that temporarily removing the coalition from the blacklist was "one of the most painful and difficult decisions I have had to make," and that it raised “the very real prospect that millions of other children would suffer grievously."
"Children already at risk in Palestine, South Sudan, Syria, Yemen and so many other places would fall further into despair," he told reporters.
The UN secretary-general added that "it is unacceptable for member states to exert undue pressure...scrutiny is a natural and necessary part of the work of the United Nations."

Nor did the people in the West Bank but who is paying the Piper. Is that some sort of throw-back to their many exiles while in the EU? The 'rich Jews' got away with the money but as payment they left their poorest relatives behind should retribution be needed.
The 2nd ramification is more interesting that that, barring Arabs from entering Israel at all and it probably gets promoted as a great thing so it could be extended indefinitely.
What can't be ignored indefinitely is the Russian influence that has come to Israel's borders. All the US is doing is moving some low-grade hardware around so it is not on North American soil as the 'rebels' would easily take it and use it against the elite that didn't escape.
