A minuscule fraction compared to the USA and China's pollution.

However, I would love to see and energy corridor reaching for BC to NB, stretching across Canada, power-lines, pipelines, ethernet.

I'd also like to see Hydrogen Cars and a Hydrogen Highway stretching across Canada.

We can't gut our Industries and resources, but we can offset it like they have done in Norway.

But this is dirty oil. not like the clean ethical oil from Saudi Arabia

Yea Fort McMurray is going to cost a ton of money to fix.

Climate change doesn't give a fukk about us.

The fire in Ft. Mac was human caused. Nothing to do with globull warming.

Everything crude can do, hemp can do better. Hemp for fuel, lubricants, plastics (superior and biodegradable). Y'all be dinosaurs farting in the wind about tar sands oil crap. We don't need it.

Speaking of insurance, they have been strangely quiet so are they trying to duck out rather than say a $5B bond is going to be issued to rebuild the city so it is open before fire season ends?

The Mrs works for cooperators. They have been handing out cheques like crazy for 2 weeks. They also extended a lot of benefits from 2 weeks to 4 weeks without question and are really doing a great job of ignoring red tape.

Great idea Cliffy. Now tell us how you're gonna replace 25% of the GDP and find jobs for a million people and balance the budget without a few hundred billion in tax and royalty revenue. I'm gonna guess you haven't considered those things though.

Do you think hemp is going to grow, harvest and process all by itself?

Non issue.

You keep telling yourself that.

So much salt

Hemp oil is just as organic as hydrocarbon based oil, including biodegradibility.

Spill a truck load of hemp oil in a lake and you'll be working just as hard to save the water fowl and fish as if it was petroleum oils.

Your logic is massively flawed.

PS - How many millions of sections of land will it take to grow enough hemp to process into the products you rely on every day... Stops making sense right there, doesn't it?

It's a resource that is THERE Cliffy! Don't you think we should cash in on it and then when it's done move on to hemp?

Jesus Christ man you're obcessed with a bit of smoke, look up the discharge of pollutants frum a minor volcanic eruption. You should be supporting legislation to curb volcanoes and stop wasteing your gonads on pissy little issues that mean nothing in the scheme of things. Uou're a talented person who is in danger of turning to drugs. You have my number. We can fix you up.
But those volcanoes aren't in Canada. Bad stuff only happens in Canada. So many Clingons.

Or fund the half million in by-pass surgeries he's had thanks to a lazy, dope sucking, beer guzzling lifestyle.

He can't take care of his own well being, what makes him think he can care for a planet?
