Are at the Olive Garden in Calgary before heading home. Couldn't get over all the construction I saw in that city.

Well, a couple of days ago, my sister bought me a BBQ.
Smoking deal, with a "Merry Christmas/Happy Birthday"
explanation. It's beautiful!!! I'll haul the old one away
next weekend.

Friday night I learn that some WWE/WWF thing is happening
Sunday night and my Son & his Buddies are all meeting at
our place to watch it (central location for everyone) as most
live out of town in different directions.

My Son has a bunch of pork cuts marinating since yesterday
morning, and I did up a batch this morning....so now two
different flavours, & another Buddy of his is bringing in some
deer or moose steaks he's been marinating....

It'll be an eclectic potluck. I dug a Cranberry Cheesecake
out'a the freezer, and picked up (on sale cheap for $5.99
each) a couple packs (1.1KGs each) of spring rolls that
we'll bake in the oven. Others will bring other random
things...and we'll all just graze.

I'm hitting up a Houston pizza today before heading to the coast tomorrow. You just can't hit Regina without having pizza.

Its only a Regina thing.

Juliana and sparkys good but Rosemont and Glencairn are a journey from where and who I'm sharing with.

Must have. Son inlaw Murray went from Hot Spot to old brown Derby location on Gordon and set up Sparky's.

That was quite some time ago.

AWESOME oven!

Tonight I watched much of that wrasslin show but got bored, especially after the bad guys (the Wyatts) lost

Ate roast pork for dinner and it was superb.

Are you sure that those aren't sold as portable crematoria?

ouch

as for dinner tonight, it's taco salad ...

Our dinner tonight is tacos and beer. Si.

I pronounce them the way that I see them ... "taa-cohs" but I am constantly being reminded by my spouse that the proper pronounciation is the Kipper "TAWW-COHS". I have suggested to her that no Tex or Mex walking this earth would put on an affectation like that but to no available. Hard to eat a "tawco" with you little finger in the air.

Nothing better. I usually cook a good chuck roast slowly and shred the beef . I then cook my own corn tortillas forming them into taco shells. I like the large ones if I can find them. Shredded fresh iceberg lettace, diced vine ripe tomatoes and shredded longhorn cheddar cheese with home made salsa w/a hint of cilantro on top. Now that's a taco.

That's south western sonoran style tacos.
