While the leader(s) may be crazy, they are "deadly" serious and unfortunately, no one is taking him seriously and they should! So far, they haven't lied. They have done what they have said and will continue doing so. Maybe not here today; maybe not there tomorrow but they are very serious in wanting to control the world and have their caliphate.


With leaders like Obama, Trudeau and Merkel who don't want to "offend" anyone, we need someone like a Churchill who will be ready and willing to take action when (and if) its ever required. Unfortunately, we don't. I'm hoping I'm not around when and if all hell breaks loose! In the meantime, I will continue to live my life and hope (and pray) for the best.

Ohhhhh they WILL hit Canada and it will hurt. Opinions will change in a heartbeat and it will take a generation or two before the hatred dies.

I suppose we will soon see if all the anti terrorism measures that are imposed on us as we go about our daily business are worth the inconvenience or not.

I think this quote from the ISIS declaration pretty much says it all:
Abu al-Gharib al-Jazairi (ابو الغريب الجزائري) said, “This is a message to you [France] and to all of your allies, to your Crusader alliance in North Africa, in the Middle East and many other places such as Afghanistan, Mali, Iraq and Greater Syria… we will conquer France… we will conquer Rome and then a Caliphate that follows the Prophet-hood will be established… we will conquer and govern the world by the rule of Allah…”

Quite obviously this is little more that the usual Islamist bombast. I suspect very strongly that a decade or so from now ISIS will be all but forgotten.

Same rhetoric that all terrorists use. big words with little behind them. Islamic extremists are famous for that. Saddam was famous for making bold threats against the west and ended up a filthy rat hiding in a hole. Their time will catch up to them.
