hhmmm Psych Today has a point. Most of humanity today seems to prefer using their brains as seating organs rather than thinking organs.
That reminds me, did you all know that scientists have discovered Neanderthalensis DNA in some people? That gives support for my theory that there are still two-species of humans existing; some are intelligent and some are not.

I object, as a one time member of the human race I know for a fact that the majority of humanity can chew gum and walk at the same time. I have done that myself many times. I think you may be assuming that what passes for common sence in the west is universal. Let's take two random selections say the USA and Great Britoon for example, these nations spend most of their time it seems engaged in a wide selection of crap, crappy music, crappy movies, crappy pro sports and eating huge ammounts of crap, following political crap, observing religious crap and generally expressing belief in crap of all sorts and flavors. My God you are right there are at least two species of humans. The western human family thrives on crap while the rest of the world feeds crap to plants and then eats the vegetables. We in the west are intercepting the food chain at the wrong link. I don't think it's very fair to blame the Neanderthals, of course you probably didn't think one of us would or could respond to your post.
Interestingly enough, it's only the socialist-minded believers that are buying the BS.

True enough Capt M. But, capitalism and socialism have become products along with the other isms. I/m not against capitalism but no system will work without the rule of law. Look at the latest numbers 1% owns 99% of the USA, the customer base has been stripped. Where does it go from here? I think to war of course. We Canadians had what we thought was a mixed system which sought to utilize a blend of both those above mentioned isms. I thought that was a good idea. Of course that good idea was almost finished by the time I even had the thought and I'm just an observer of a recent past that really no longer applies. There is this global reset already long in motion. So the people on the top shelf of this world are members of neither system they are directors of eternal war, they never built or build anything without its eventual destruction being the simultaneous motivation and reward.
