here in alberta,yes the cons,not sure elsewhere,the rural will be con,in the cities probably not.
right now,i am just ignoring the election.

I think that reality is starting to sink in. I don't see Justin winning this one. My guess, Con minority or majority. Trudeau will not be PM this round, but as they say: It ain't over til the fat lady sings.

Yep, nothing is certain in politics, but I'd put my money (maybe 50 cents) on Harper, due mainly to 10 years experience that Jr. doesn't have. Hopefully Mulehair is out of the picture, but I wouldn't bet my first born on that quite yet either.

I'm pretty pissed at the Conservatives over their treatment of vets. I'm equally pissed at Canadians for looking the other way when it comes to that treatment. Sadly, Trudeau is not a viable alternative and given the NDP track record in Ontario I'm not so sure I want to throw the dice on a slice of orange.

I'm not sure the treatment of most Veterans is a subject most Canadians are qualified to have a hard and fast opinion on. I think the Gov't should do whatever possible to make the ones who are broken, whole if at all possible and if not provide them with the wherewithal to live in comfort and dignity. Trudeau is too excitable to be a Prime Minister in my view. I do agree with his idea to borrow money while interest rates are low to upgrade and replace infrastructure. I'm not in favour of his plan to move in thousands of refugees, while people like our injured Vets and First Nations are not properly attended to. I raised the question of bringing in all the refugees with our local N.D.P. candidate and she says they can do both, look after refugees and our own people who need help. My answer to that would be BULL SH*T.

Personally I haven't voted in the last 2 Canadian elections, wasn't living in Canada long enough. But this election I'm voting for a local Conservative who has been an MP for a few years... Conservative of course.. ;)

It a no brainer Harper will rule for another 4 years with a majority.

The only reason Trudeau sees any bump is 1. Because of his name, and 2. The hormonal teenie bopper girl who just turned 18 and wants to vote.

I think "huge" might be a bit of bull sh*t, actually "substantial" would be a bit of a stretch too. I think Jr. could be starting to pose a threat.

You may be right so I asked my kids (twin 18 year olds and a 23 year old). They think you're pretty silly and while they think Trudeau is more "youthful" than Harpo, they said they are able to keep their hormones in check when they're around guys over 30. It's interesting to note, last summer when you were being particularly silly, my oldest read some of your inane banter. I mentioned your silly comment today and she laughed. She said women find intelligence sexy so women would generally take a guy like me over you in a heartbeat, even at 51 years old

But she is right, intelligence is sexy. It isn't the only nor the most important quality, though. There are those like kindness (that seems to be a rare quality here), humour, confidence (as opposed to egotism), empathy, balance (rather than bias), thoughtfulness, being able to listen well, etc etc etc.

Anyways, I don't really care much who gets in anymore. It always turns out to be 6 of one and a half dozen of the other. Big diff.

I'm starting to wonder if putting Harper back in would be worth it for the sheer entertainment value of watching the implosion of posters like Flossy, damngrumpy (who is voting NDP don't ya know), Cliffy and a few others on here.

I'm more worried about how Harper will negatively affect the economy more than how he will negatively affect Flossy
