To the OP ...

I am a fiscal conservative but a social liberal (small l). I hate useless taxes and government waste (if you need definitions of either, please search "Wynn"). But I support gay marriage, freedom of choice and am not for the death penalty but am not against it enough to protest if it was implemented. In other hot button items, I support the idea that one might need id to vote in a general election and not be covered in head to toe with a wrap such that the voter could be anybody. I also support the fight against ISIS and support accepting refugees we can handle but performing proper security checks on all that come knocking.

The party I look for is one that will be doing best for me while not screwing others. The Conservatives are not perfect. They certainly could have been more open but overall I don't really think they have done a bad job. The tax reductions have been beneficial to me. Also, the Conservatives are not running on an abortion, death penalty or gay marriage platform so the gum flapping of libtards like Flossy really doesn't apply.

That being said, I do look at the NDP and the Lieberals for their proposals and look at how their government would be better for me and the country. The Lieberals sound nice: "Tax the rich, cut back tax on middle class", kill the child benefit and income splitting which is "benefiting the millionares". The problem is that their definition of rich is anybody making a HOUSEHOLD INCOME over $90k/year. They would tax these people. The millionaires no doubt have their millions in tax havens overseas and will not pay more tax.

The NDP I need to research more but from what I have read so far, it looks similar. But like I said, I have not had chance to research them yet.

I still consider myself undecided but am leaning Conservative and did vote Conservative in the last election. You asked, I answered. I have no intention of defending my thinking or getting into one of these back and forth things with you. Take this as my opinion and leave it at that.

As a fiscal conservative I want the best bang for the buck and I want balanced budgets. I see limited value in income splitting given the cost to tax payers.

As for taxing and spending like other parties, you're helping make my point. The Conservatives fiscal record is nothing to brag about.

Which means you are either not voting or voting for a party who can't put a budget together if their lives depended on it! Huh!

The only people that are against income splitting are those two income families and single people....
That means those people that it doesn't benefit...
No hypocrisy there huh?
