somebody probably missed this in their daily news updates.

Canadian Oil Sands just issued its quarterly financials. They lost $128 million in the past 90 days, compared to the $176 million profit they made this time last year.

And $120 million of that recent loss -- all but $8 million -- is from the Alberta NDP's new tax increase.
I call it a "revenge tax." It's one of three new taxes Rachel Notley's NDP government has imposed on the energy industry in Alberta.

If you don't care about "fat cats" being taxed, think again.

Lots of ordinary people own energy and resource industry stocks in their RSPs. The NDPs war on the oil patch hurts every Canadian.

Yes, the global fall in oil prices have hurt the industry too. But the NDP's response to that crisis has only made the situation worse.

I had the gull to watch "the rebel" for one minute,27 seconds.
I find him funny and so old conservative, telling us all those silly numbers in which the average Albertan would not understand or care to understand,I guess this is the point, which makes this tatic something out of 1980.With this being said, the question remains,"who pays the rebel? We now know with this projected information video, the author of these numbers, and Mr "no teeth, big tongue"has to be an old school Conservative, who depends on old Conservative doctrination and knows no different.I find it strange Mr.Rebel would repeat those numbers with confidence, what do you think he earns for his propaganda? It people like him who contribute to weak structure in the political system,it's people like him that disrupt harmony.
I am happy i was brave enough to watch one minute 27 seconds of this poor pathetic soul.
I hope he attracts his kind of people.

p.s.his tongue presents as a lizard tongue.

Ezra the Lizard; has a nice ring to it. Ezra is Canada's answer to Rush Limbaugh, a Conservative mouth piece, blow hard who wouldn't know the truth if it bit off his naughty bits. I can see why he is a hero of yours Loc.

sh...sh,we do not want people to think twice about being a believer of Ezra, encourage the like minded people to stick together, boast Ezra as being the most significant number provider, make sure or encourage people to have him run for the PC party.I wonder who gave him all those numbers,or where did he find those numbers?
I assume it was an Old Conservative, because it is an old Conservative outdated tatic,"dazzle them with numbers".
keep it all a secret.

Do those silly number confuse you?... I'm guessing that you probably have trouble counting the change you get back too
yes those numbers confuse me,what is it to you if I can't count change?
you should jump overboard Captain Morgan, you seem so miserable.

Ezra and the Fraser Institute two names that add up to no credibility.
Yes there is a new government in Alberta and it is staking its claim
that the people matter and they should receive more for the resource.
This is the same nonsense Peter Lougheed went through when he did
the same thing four decades or more ago.
It is time to say the world can share our resource but they won't get it
for next to nothing anymore. It is time to stop kissing the a** of big
business and foreigners and pay attention to Canadians.
I am not against sharing if the price is right and it has been far too low.
I hope the new government takes back all the exploration licenses of
those who moth ball their rigs. Resell and move on if you don't want to
pay you don't get to play in my view.
Oh and for those who have share in resources I have shares in resources
and I think the Alta government is on the right track as I am also a Canadian
we have to think of our long term interests

are you flirting with me petros,do you want my attention?

Why on earth would I do that?

Even when taking more costs jobs along with short and long term investment? If business doesn't make money off product and ROI, nobody makes money.

Where do you think the money comes from to pay the best wages in Canada?

For a BC Red Seal tradesman to get a $10 an hour raise, all he/she has to do is cross the border from BC into Alberta.

dear Petros,
you flirt with me,(or whoever name comes in handy), because you are good at what you do,possibly the word is "provoke"me.This manner of responding to my opinions would say you seem left out, abandoned and in need of attention, and more so this demonstration of information projection would say you are schooled at the classic method of provoking, your projection is only intended to have me respond in a defensive manner and more so to respond to you directly.i am happy to give you attention,it is sometimes lonely out in the tractor.
what did I ever do to you Petros to be so insensitive to my opinons.
us farmers should stick together.
