Rational people recognise that our personal feels don't mean squat when it comes to the fact that we are dependant on oil. It has to get to market. The best way at this point is pipeline. The only way at this point, because of feels, is rail.Rational people don't forgive one just because it's better than the other though.

Pipelines properly built and managed have very little impact on the environment. Pipelines are the safest and most environmentally friendly way to move petroleum products. People trying to ban pipelines or even the oildsands have it wrong, their attention and efforts should be directed at changing the behaviour of the consumer and let the market react accordingly.
