Now I have to.
I got three hogs heads coming tomorrow, I'll just boil one up in the kitchin and scoop it up with a spoon.

Some folks are under the illusion that cooking is for women, only. Don't know where that myth came from but sure am glad folks are realizing more and more nowadays that this idea is pure BS.
I have buddy whom I've known for a long time. He lived with his mom until he was about 28, lived alone for a few years, went back to living with her, then married after a few years, became widowed, then lived with a girl friend but ultimately broke up, and repeated that with another lady. In each instance he was always dependent upon some woman to cook for him.
This buddy has now gotten older and is alone once again.
Just the other day we were chatting on the phone and he asked for a couple of recipes and cooking lessons. He liked my ideas very much and said that he knows that the foods I mentioned were going to come out real good.
I thought about our discussion and after adding two plus two I came up with this conclusion - he now wants to learn how to cook because he has given up on women. Since he is getting older he knows it is going to be tougher to find a gal who'll like him enough to cook for him so he just cannot afford to remain dependent on women any more.
Lesson learned: don't rely on women = learn to cook!

For sure, my Mum gave one to my wife 40 years ago which is now in tatters but still uses faithfully.
There was a large cooking class held in our residential building this afternoon - the instructors were likely from a nearby junior college - and many of the attendees were men. So good to see all those guys learning the world's best hobby!
This after I baked beans, well into the evening as well, then I fryed some green bacon, thick slices, made a greater sauce by adding more dried mustarde, They were ready around seven, very good, I had to have them,, well that's the menu for the rest of the week.
had some baked chicken last night and had just enough leftovers for me to make chicken soup tonight - added mixed veggies, Italian salad dressings, sesame oil, and Romano cheese which gave it much flavor

An ASDA Kashmiri lamb rogan josh (with huge chunks of lamb) with plenty of rice and a couple of garlic naans.
