B.S. There's been no increase. Yer just pulling this out of yer a$$.

you can dispute what's causing the increase in extreme weather events... but you'll need more than just "your sayin" to dispute there's been an increase in certain extreme weather events in recent years.

No proof, eh?

No proof, eh?

Walter, Walter, Walter... when you come back so emphatically, as you did, one would think you'd be prepared to actually provide some of your own "proof" (actually, evidence... right Walter?) that no increase in extreme weather trends can be shown to have occurred in the most recent decade(s). You show me yours, hey Walter... I mean, you sure bark/beak/parrot a good game, hey!

My proof is in the eating of the pudding.

then eat some... and show me your "proof" (again, really evidence, right Walter?). Again, you were so emphatic with your statement, yet... you can't quite seem to find it in yourself to provide your own, as you say, "proof", that there has been no trend change in recent decade(s) extreme weather. Walter, is there a problem for you in doing so?

But waldo already told you the six feet of snow in Buffalo is weather. The two sunny days we had this month, THAT was climate change.

please, stop embarassing yourself. This lil' discussion is about "extreme weather". I made a pointed distinction with Walter to separate out any causal aspect... to simply speak to whether or not there has been an increase in (certain types of) extreme weather. While you're doing that perhaps you could speak to what influenced the lake-effect/Buffalo snow... not necessarily what caused it; rather, what influenced it to occur.

it's called a discussion forum... you should try it sometime!

Except you have nothing to discuss, just flogging your one trick pony and ignoring anything that does not agree with your position. But you are sometimes amusing. Kind of like a two year old playing.

You don't discuss, you proselytise, cause this is a religion to you!

I find your inability to articulate your thoughts very amusing... I sense that's why you prefer C&P and drive-by's, hey?

Walter! Does this latest distraction of yours mean you've dropped your pretense over there being no such thing as an increase in extreme weather over the relative recent decade(s)? Aren't you wanting to share your, as you called it, "proof" (actually evidence, right Walter?)? Is there a problem for you Walter?

but good on ya for recognizing your latest Michigan state focused link is... yes, weather! Good on ya!.

here's a couple of graphs... one climate focused with a long-term temperature trend for Michigan state, one not. But hey now, in keeping with your latest weather focus for Michigan, look at that bottom graph and tell me Walter... what colour is the state of Michigan and what does that colour equate to? As you say Walter, good thing it's only weather!

Winter of 2014 will be a rerun of 2013, forecaster says

The prevailing weather conditions of last winter will be more or less the same across the country this winter, according to the Weather Network’s chief meteorologist Chris Scott.

For Ontario, Quebec, New Brunswick and Manitoba, the winter outlook calls for below-average temperatures and near-normal precipitation for most regions.

Western Saskatchewan, Alberta and the other Atlantic provinces should brace for wildly swinging temperatures that average out to near seasonal norms, he said.

In British Columbia and the North, 2013 winter weather patterns are expected to repeat, which means those regions can expect warmer than normal conditions for the next few months.

Scott says these general trends will take hold starting in January and he expects December will be a time of more erratic temperature swings across the country.

If that is so they have it wrong. British Columbia had the coldest winter in several years last winter.

Until spring because it's just weather.

So W.T.F. is "climate" comprised of? I would guess several episodes of "weather".:)
