All the potheads are using every possible attack venue, as usual. Why is it that humans simply cannot enjoy life without drugs or alcohol? Are you not ashamed of yourselves?

It's fine with me too.

Hey skook I know what you mean but you have to experiment a bit, the high THC pot does nothing for my pain the high CBD pot frequently makes it pleasently bearable and sometimes disappear. The bag I've got now is high THC absolutely worthless except if you want to get dizzy and confused coupled with stupid. It's not enjoyable at all and offers no relief. And I forgive you for calling me a liar.
CBD for inflamation THC for frightening sstoned out of your mind.

Be careful. That bag might just turn you into a politician.

Yeah, yeah...

Except that old ad is a figment of someone's fevered imagination..........the modern Tory ad tells the truth.

You aren't a cultist, are you?

One of the "smoking dope is GOOD for you" crowd??

I think the risks of legalizing marijuana are not significant enough that it should remain illegal, considering its popularity.

But it is NOT harmless.

Claiming that it is puts you in the same deluded category as the people that made the old anti-marijuana propaganda.

Not any of the new ones I've seen. They are full of $hit and all kids know that. Not only that they are offensive to anyone with working brain cells.

Tory anti-pot ad mocked and condemned by YouTube viewers

um yeah, about that:

While I realize that it would be somewhat difficult for the CBC to recognize a substance that causes brain damage, and even more difficult for the government sponsored network to realize the condition itself, I do believe that the above article is completely inaccurate.

No. 1 error, the ad is not a Tory ad, it's sponsored by Health Canada.

No. 2 error, the story claims that the ad is being mocked on Youtube. Like hello CBC?? Where does Youtube advertise itself as a medical facility??

No. 3 The CBC reports that many of the claims against the use of marijuana are exaggerated.

The following is a list of side effects caused by marijuana use, and taken from the website of one of the world's foremost medical facilities, the Mayo Clinic at Rochester, Minnesota.

Marijuana (Cannabis sativa) - Drugs and Supplements - Mayo Clinic

Maybe we're getting closer to solving the real problem as to what is causing confusion over at the CBC!!

I don't know much about pot really but we have seen this before the propaganda i mean
At the end of prohibition they needed a reason to keep the FBI around and they were out
of money. Booze was legal so they came up with Pot the killer drug. They showed people
withdrawing tearing out their hair and so on.
Over time the slowly withdrew from attacking booze and blaming Pot for everything.
Now society is ready to surrender the battle on pot and the battle or war on drugs is about
to d-escalate and they are trying one more step. Its more about the social aspect as they
don't want to offend the old Reform guard within the party.
The money is a waste as you can't control social sins drugs, booze, prostitution or gambling
it will never happen they are part of human nature

I dont think it was the pot. At least not in all cases. Some people are just stupid.

Oh yeah, some people come by it honestly BUT there are others who are borderline mental cases and pot is just enough to push them over the line. My grand daughters' mother is just such a case, she can look after herself to some extent but she could never care for a child. In one month she damn near burned the house down twice, while our son was away working.

Canadian conservatives who have launched a new billboard campaign in Ottawa are urging Tories to embrace their libertarian roots and legalize marijuana.

A group called Canadian Conservatives for Legal Marijuana put up the billboards, which parody the familiar federal Conservative party branding but feature a few more hints of green. One is at the corner of Elgin Street and Laurier Avenue, and the second has gone up near King Edward Avenue and York Street.

Former Conservative MP Inky Mark has lent his name to the campaign. He says it makes perfect sense for someone with conservative leanings to be in favour of legalizing marijuana because that would be in line with a policy that provides less government intrusion into the lives of people.

“If you legalize it, tax it, control it, it just makes sense. You’ll keep people out of jail and make a lot of money,” he said in an interview Friday.

He said many prominent members of the Conservative party privately support his cause but they don’t want to run afoul of their leader, Prime Minister Stephen Harper.

“I don’t even consider Harper a conservative. He’s just Harper. The man basically wanted to jail 40,000 people who were using medical marijuana and growing it themselves. That should tell you a lot about him right there,” Mark said.

Local marijuana activists Russell Barth and his wife Christine Lowe were surprised by the billboard but not by its message when they stopped by to have a look.

“Conservatives seem to have a cognitive dissonance when it comes to marijuana. They’re like ‘yeah, smaller government, less regulation, get out of my bedroom and get out of my life,’ unless it’s marijuana. Then you’ve gotta just crack down on that,” Barth said.

Barth said that while ideally he’d like to see pot legalized “and sold just like tomatoes,” it’s much more important to clarify the situation around medical marijuana and the ability of users to grow their own pot.

As it stand legal marijuana consumers can't find a reliable supply through the many companies supplying legal, high quality, clean cannabis.

The rest of you are going to have to wait your turn.
