Actually, I doubt the rifle was ever registered. Best guess is only between 50% and 70% of long guns in Canada ever were.

As for worrying about the source of this rifle being a supplier to terrorists.....well, I sincerely doubt that. They deal in AKs.

With the serial number, Winchester's records should show which gun shop they sent it to. Then the gun shop may have records showing whom they sold it to. It's far from a certainty, but that's how the investigation game goes.

You know after listening to Harper, Justin Trudeau, and Muclair..

Justin Trudeau, and Muclair sincerely tried to calm people down, unify the country and stress things should not change.

Sadly, Prime Minister Harper, just set out his agenda, and ramping up the temperature of the population.. not much unifying or calming in his speech.. it was very disappointing for me.
