He was certainly a Christian undoubtedly, but that doesn't matter.. the point is, a mental illness isn't different depending on what religion you follow.. it's still a mental illness.
This guy was a homeless mentally ill person , it's simply stupid to lash out at Islam for this incident.

I have heard on news this morning that the reason he 'snapped' was he was frustrated at delays on getting a passport. He was anxious to get one so he could plan a trip to Syria. I am sure it was the sun and the sand he was seeking.

Libya actually and it was the Libyans who turned him down.

Sun's @JJ_McCullough gives the middle finger to CBC's @ggreenwald for saying Canada deserves terrorist attacks

That's a neat little lie there, pretending Glenn Greenwald works for the CBC.

Thus the qualification Islamo-Nazi

Islamo-Fascist has been in use for a while. Nazi is too specific, but maybe the Nazi's were Islamic. "Gott mit uns". Gott is just Allah in German.

That might be because Anders Breivik was not a Christian by any stretch of the imagination. His writings revealed he doubted both the divinity of Christ, and the existence of any god whatsoever.

So did Mother Teresa. Apparently doubt is a thing religious people often do.

Not only is that rifle legal, it is one of the more ubiquitous hunting rifles in Canada. As part of their investigation, police will try to trace the gun using an existing serial number, Friedman noted, but the most likely explanation for Zehaf Bibeau’s possession of the gun is that he purchased it on the black market or stole it from its original owner. If it’s the latter, the legal owner could face charges if he or she knew the gun had been taken and failed to report it to police.

The fact that the weapon was a rifle has quickly drawn attention to Canada’s now-defunct long-gun registry. The registry, created in 1995, was hailed as an essential tracking and investigative tool by police and victims’ groups, and was accessed more than 17,000 times a day in 2011. Canada’s Coalition for Gun Control, which fought hard against the abolition of the registry in 2012, said Thursday that “it’s too early for us to comment on (the Ottawa attack) as no information has been confirmed on how the gun came into (Zehaf Bibeau’s) possession.”

But according to Friedman, for anyone to suggest that the registry could have prevented the brazen shooting is “absurd.” It was, he argued, mainly an investigative tool that helped “pick up some of the pieces afterward.”

I'm glad you can admit your position is absurd.

So you're unaware of the Nazi connection to Islam?

Islamo nazi...isn't that an oxymoron? Nazi's would have gassed him.
Nope, in fact there was an Islamic Nazi regiment in WWII

Nazis are Christians.
Not all, see above.

.

Adolph Hitler on Islam and Cristianity;

You see, it's been our misfortune to have the wrong religion. Why didn't we have the religion of the Japanese, who regard sacrifice for the Fatherland as the highest good? The Mohammedan religion [Islam] too would have been more compatible to us than Christianity. Why did it have to be Christianity with its meekness and flabbiness?[4]

I can imagine people being enthusiastic about the paradise of Mohammed, but as for the insipid paradise of the Christians! In your lifetime, you used to hear the music of Richard Wagner. After your death, it will be nothing but hallelujahs, the waving of palms, children of an age for the feeding bottle, and hoary old men. The man of the isles pays homage to the forces of nature. But Christianity is an invention of sick brains: one could imagine nothing more senseless, nor any more indecent way of turning the idea of the Godhead into a mockery. A n***** with his taboos is crushingly superior to the human being who seriously believes in transubstantiation.[5]

Had Charles Martel not been victorious at Poitiers -already, you see, the world had already fallen into the hands of the Jews, so gutless a thing Christianity! -then we should in all probability have been converted to Mohammedanism [Islam], that cult which glorifies the heroism and which opens up the seventh Heaven to the bold warrior alone. Then the Germanic races would have conquered the world. Christianity alone prevented them from doing so.[6]

The best thing is to let Christianity die a natural death. A slow death has something comforting about it. The dogma of Christianity gets worn away before the advances of science... The instructions of a hygienic nature that most religions gave, contributed to the foundation of organized communities. The precepts ordering people to wash, to avoid certain drinks, to fast at appointed dates, to take exercise, to rise with the sun, to climb to the top of the minaret — all these were obligations invented by intelligent people. The exhortation to fight courageously is also self-explanatory. Observe, by the way, that, as a corollary, the Moslem was promised a paradise peopled with sensual girls, where wine flowed in streams — a real earthly paradise. The Christians, on the other hand, declare themselves satisfied if after their death they are allowed to sing hallelujahs! ...Christianity, of course, has reached the peak of absurdity in this respect. And that's why one day its structure will collapse. Science has already impregnated humanity. Consequently, the more Christianity clings to its dogmas, the quicker it will decline.![7]

There is only so long that we will continue to bundle a qualifier with a terrorist.

At some point we will need to realize that people can get screwed up for many different reasons so we should be trying to find out what the archertypes are and how we can help these people.

Indeed!

There is a cure for this type of mental aberation.

115 grains of lead delivered at 1250 feet per second right behind the ear.

Works wonders.

Sorry

I thought you were being sarcastic.

Oh my bad. I'm not sarcastic in the slightest. Nazism is basically Islamic fundamentalism. I am 100% saying that. No lie. It's obvious. People who think Islamo-Nazism makes sense aren't total morons. I am not sarcastic. I am super super serious.

I don't last out at Islam in general but certainly think the Iman he was following should be investigated. I tend to lash out against him personally as his mental illness is still not proven.

Libya actually and it was the Libyans who turned him down.

Thanx for the clarification. I don't claim the error since the news report said Syria but it was BT and not a serious news program.
