I was being sarcastic.

Ward is dead, was it his fault?

Not sure, but some here seem convinced it was.

Guess that makes me a poopy head.

No, it makes you an impatient, rush-to-post arsehole, as I've mentioned before. You should pause before you hit 'Submit Reply', read what you type-blather out loud to yourself, ask if it's appropriate, boneheaded, perhaps assinine. Then if it meets your criteria, have at 'er. Right now you're a post-whoar and you look like a dweeb.

“There aren’t words to describe the sadness I feel about the accident that took the life of Kevin Ward Jr. It’s a very emotional time for all involved, and it is the reason I’ve decided not to participate in today’s race at Watkins Glen. My thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends and everyone affected by this tragedy.”

Well gee whiz, guess that makes him innocent of any wrong doing.

At least he had some class and didn't call Ward stupid.

Don't be silly.

The guy who is dead is clearly at fault.

Just like those people killed on MH-17, they bought the tickets for the flight.....ergo....it's their own fault they are dead.

I agree 100%, when are the good for nothing dead going to take some responsibility maybe even get jobs, I'm tired of their freeloading. Why can't they shutup about their problems.

Most of my dead friends just lay around all day and do nothing, I'v tried to motivate them, to no avail, even left pamphlets.

Just because they are dead doesn't mean they are necessarily innocent.

Did I assign blame? That's you....
I explained rules and common sense to you. Not anyone's fault but your own you can't understand it. What part of Whitby do you haunt anyhow?

Yet you agree with Walt and Eagle.

Seems you agree with there summation.

Darwin at work. If you're going to run in front of a race car the race car will win.

Exactly. If the guy wasn't running around on the track during a race, he wouldn't have been hit. He apparently had some beef with Stewart but surely it could have waited till the end of the race.

Ok ok.... it all makes sense now compared to when I posted last time. The linked video in the OP won't work on mobiles/cells and I was looking at the video from the sub link in the report.... which was a completely different video.

Now that I got a chance to see the linked video in the OP I can clearly see him get smacked.... but the fault isn't with the diver who hit and killed him.

That idiot got what was coming to him. Jumping out like that on an active race track and trying to get that close to a speeding race car is beyond stupidity, especially for someone who races these things for a living.

Whether or not it appears as though the driver fishtailed into him and hit him intentionally is irrelevant as the argument could be that he was trying to avoid him and swerved but lost control.

What I actually saw in that video was no intentional swerving or fishtailing towards him to scare him, but the swerving of his vehicle after the impact of that idiot's body being stuck under the car and losing traction from the ground.

That dolt was inches and feet away from other passing vehicles and then when this driver was coming up, he darted around and got even closer to him to the point of being difficult to predict where he was going to be.

He attempted to get close enough to slow the diver down or obstruct his driving so he would fall back in the race at the very least.... and it backfired by him getting good and fk'n dead.

You want to get in a fight with another driver?

Wait until the race is over and the car's aren't moving.

Also, relooking into the video of the original vehicle collision that started the mess, the other driver does seem to turn his wheels intentionally in a way to smack into the other vehicle and cause him to crash out..... but as far as I know, that's not a criminal act in racing and the driver was well and alive at that point.

Third Look: Nope, he's just trying to control his drift and just so happened to clip Kevin who should have been aware of the proximity and should have avoided the crash due to him being in front of him and in clear view.

It could have been left at that and the racing officials could have dealt with the matter, but he decided to hop out of his car and prance around on the active race course and then hop back and forth while pointing and screaming.... that road doesn't seem to have the best traction for racing and control and when you got a guy bobbing left and right on the race track, even if you did see him there, you would be trying to avoid him, but like a deer, do you swerve left or swerve right to avoid the collision?

I certainly don't think the driver who hit him had the intentions of actually hitting him and killing him.... that just makes your life more complicated.

This is an accident plain and simple.... an accident created by the idiot hopping out of his card during an active race and strolling through passing race cars.

If Tony Stewart didn't hit him, chances are another car would have clipped him eventually. The blue car that went by just before he was hit came pretty damn close to hitting him too.

Exactly Juan. Wait till the race is over and head over to Stewart's pit with your own pit crew and everyone has a good ol fashioned NASCAR throw down.
