Do you know for a fact at this point that Stewart did not drive into Ward on purpose?

I sure don't, so I am not ready to blame Ward entirely for his actions.

Same way I don't blame raped women for wearing a short skirt.

I'll wait for an official police investigation.
You'll probably be waiting a long time. Even under a yellow flag, do you know how fast reaction time would have to be to steer INTO a pedestrian? Be sure to give some warning when you try your experiment at your local crosswalk

That's pretty good Walter, it won't be on the fridge but not bad all the same. No wonder my Mama used to tell me not to shake my finger at the Grizzly.

I don't think they decided the route should be over hostile territory.

????

You mean they didn't ask before they made the choice to get on that plane? Wow, I feel even less sorry for them.

They got in the way of the missle that wasn't purposely fired at them.

Their fault.

So you know that he did not purposely steer in Wards direction?

Hard to tell from that video, perhaps you have other evidence.

I don't know for sure so I am not ready to put all the blame on the dead guy.

If Stewart does not have the skills to avoid this guy it explains why he is in NASCAR.....Ward should have known this.

Are you having this conversation with yourself because I certainly haven't assigned any blame - just opinion. You DO know the difference don't you?

See - all I can go on is that hard and fast rule of STAY IN YOUR VEHICLE - unless it's on fire

I know the difference about you coming after me instead of what Walt or Eaglesmack had to say.

I was referring to what they said. Blame the victim before the evidence is heard.

Seems you have a crush on me....how cute.

I guess Stewart is that bad of a driver that he can't avoid a pedestrian.

Hard to see from that angle but did Stewart drive into him or did Ward jump in front of Stewart?

Not sure, but let the victim blaming begin before any facts come to light.

I'll wait for an official police investigation.

Lets also wait for said investigation before we blame Tony.

Personally I would tend to think it might be the fault of the guy who was stupid enough to be wandering around a track with high speed vehicles zipping by. He met the same fate as a lot of the idiots that try to walk across the 401.

I agree, we shouldn't blame anyone at this point.

It's someone's life.....their life.

No apathy anymore.....none.

Easy to go on a web page and make a glib response while the real pain is felt by all parties involved.

Which out was that? Agree or be ridiculed and asked the unanswerable?

Please do feel free to run out in front of a moving car and test your theory.

LOL!

Move on buddy, I gave you the out.

Unless you can tell me why my post made you sooooo upset but what Walt and Eagle said was just fine.

......or do you agree with what they said?

Upset? Ruff, you give yourself way too much credit. Common sense and the rules say you stay in your car. Only a rage-mad fool thinks it's safe to go out biting cars. It's easy to see why it's over your head.

According to the rules of the game (and physics and common sense) I'd say Eagle and Walt are quite correct in their assessments: a car's harder than a body.

Okay, Ward is to blame.

So Ward jumped in front of that car and Stewart did not drive into him on purpose.....by your account.

Can't wait for the final report, perhaps they will call you in as a witness or dare I say.....expert.

I still maintain that I do not know given the evidence.

Pout much, Ruff?

It's like he was away for week and they never let him get a word in edgewise.

Maybe it was the quiet ward of the hospital or a bossy missus, who's to say.

It's cathartic for our verbose little friend to come scurrying back and let rip a posting-orgy.

He's been holding it in a long time. So much pent-up opinion to share and nobody gives a darn. Poor fellow.

Sad, but understandable.

I was being sarcastic.

Ward is dead, was it his fault?

Not sure, but some here seem convinced it was.

Guess that makes me a poopy head.
