It seems like, once again, the Conservatives attack strategy has backfired on them. As it turns out, the warning by US intelligence concerning the mosque was not available to Trudeau. It was available to Stephen Harper though. What did he do about this "unspeakable violent extremism"? Nothing.

Jonathan Kay: Sun News’ cynical attacks on Justin Trudeau have crossed the line into anti-Muslim hysteria | National Post

Liberals accuse Tories of “smears” over Trudeau visit to Montreal mosque | Ottawa Citizen

Once again, the Conservatives look petty and vindictive; once again teflon Trudeau walks away looking better.

How was@JustinTrudeau to know the Wahhabi mosque was radical? If only CBC Montreal had done a big exposé on them. Oh:

For what?

Doing something about this terrorist recruitment centre in Montreal. The Prime Minister complains that Justin Trudeau visited the mosque, but Trudeau is just the second place opposition leader. Stephen Harper has been the most powerful man in the country since 2006. What has he done about it? Failed miserably by the looks of it. This apparent terror cell can operate so openly that a party leader can just drop in for a photo op. That's dangerous and Stephen Harper's incompetence handling it has put as all at risk.

Maybe someone in power should do something about that alleged Al Qaeda recruitment centre in Montreal.

Or better still someone who's not in power! That way we might not get a bill for it!

Didn't Pierre say that?

Millionaire playboy Pierre Trudeau? I doubt it. I think you're confusing him with Fuddle Duddle Man, scourge of Quebec terrorists. The resemblance is uncanny and they are never in the same place at the same time, but they are completely different people.

Quebec doesn't like Harper... I think that Steve is just giving them their own space... Might be a language barrier there too

Actually he did say it in an interview on the steps of Parliament just before the martial law during the October Crysis
