They've been dying since Nov./47, long before any rockets started landing in Israel which gave the need for the $100B (or so) iron dome (donated money so no Israeli taxpayers were hurt during this scam) Almost like it started an industry that is worth how much per year?

Lester Pearson and the Liberal Government of Canada were certainly behind the establishment of Israel at the time .
After all we wouldn't let Jews fleeing Europe prior to WW2 into Canada and we certainly didn't want them after .
It seemed like the proper thing to do at the time .
But then again at the time residential schools were thought to be a good thing .
So you believe Lester Pearson was his own man then, able to disregard the orders of his masters. What was desperatly needed to occupy Palestine were hundreds of thousands of desperate people. Pearson saved his job and skin.

Hamas (Harakat Al-Muqawama Al-Islamiya) (Islamic Resistance Movement)

Also known as

N/A

Description

Hamas, the Arabic acronym for the group Harakat Al-Muqawama Al-Islamiya, is a radical Islamist-nationalist terrorist organization that emerged from the Palestinian branch of the Muslim Brotherhood in 1987. It uses political and violent means to pursue its goal of establishing an Islamic Palestinian state in Israel. Since 1990, Hamas has been responsible for several hundred terrorist attacks against both civilian and military targets. Hamas has been one of the primary groups involved in suicide bombings aimed at Israelis since the start of the Al-Aqsa intifada in September 2000. In 2006, Hamas participated in and won Palestinian parliamentary elections, leading to negotiations between the group and the Palestinian Authority over the establishment of a unity government. In 2007, however, Hamas overthrew the Palestinian Authority in the Gaza Strip and seized power of the coastal territory. Although the group's political leadership resides in Damascus, Hamas uses the Gaza Strip as a base for terrorist operations aimed against Israel.

The only way out of this is to get the U.S. out of its supposed role of Guarantor of Israeli security.

Without the $3 billion per year is U.S. military Aid Israel would have to bargain with a Palestinian State. It would have to leave the West Bank, which it intends under current circumstances to annex.. and ultimately 'pacify' by expelling the Palestinian majority. There will NEVER be peace in these circumstances.. as long as the agressor... Israel.. is allowed to bully its way around the Middle East as some kind of projection of American power.

It is really the Americans who are to blame.. and their pathetic little lap dog quislings.. like Stephen Harper.. who provide some kind of illusion of authenticity, integrity and international 'consensus' to U.S. Imperial interests in the region.

Absolutely.

And the death of children is an unthinkable tragedy. I can't imagine losing one of mine.

But let's place the blame where it belongs; with Hamas, who started this fight, who will not end it, and who is quite willing to see children die for their propaganda war.

What bull!

Way back when the UN invented Israel by carving out a big piece of what was then called Palestine. The Jews were given the largest part of Palestine. The Israelis only stayed within those UN boundaries for a few weeks. Israel has grown steadily ever since, to the point where Israel now controls all of Palestine, part of Jordan, Syria, and parts of several other countries. The UN can do nothing about this because whatever they try to do is immediately vetoed by the U.S.

It is Israel who want to see children die.....as long as they are Arab children.

With the moves Iran tried to make in 1953 and the moves that Afghanistan tried to make in the '70's the area would not crumple under an Arab dominated Government and Jews or anybody else could not be stripped of their right to practice religion. For Jews that would probably work better if they didn't build the 3rd temple for about 300 years. By that time the transitions that are bound to take place will have been done by then.
The first act of a Arab majority would be to examine events since UN 273 was implemented and because it references UN 181 the land has to be returned and the parts that cannot be returned are purchased at so much per sq in. (may seem like a gift to themselves but that is how far back the wrongs started) Saudi has been caught with their fingers in the cookie jar for criminal acts against Syria and Iran and Bahrain so tap them with part of the bill and the ones that voted yes to UN 181 can pick up most of the tab so it totals a few $T and that is used as welfare payments to citizens of the area and the contracts are donated by companies who get to advertize their work in the Holy Land. (milking that term for all it is worth would be in the best interest of the local Jews and Arabs as tourism alone should be the highest on the globe although snow skiing in Iran followed by dinner on a beach of the Persian Sea would be running a close 2nd)

EDUCATE YOURSELF.

I never said Hamas was blameless now did I? But you're so quick to jump to the defense of one side in this debacle, in fact you probably only think there are two sides...

I'd offer to educate you, but based on your responses thus far, I'm not going to waste my time.

So dig in Colpy, go back to calling anyone who disagrees with you Jew haters who want to murder all Jews. That will work for sure. Nobody has tried that yet, right?

If you gotta say it, you’ve got problems.

Israel has long used "self defense" to justify the mass murder and deprivation of Palestinians. Now with their "iron dome" the argument doesn't really apply. You can't claim mass murder is self defense. So now the government's true intentions and the intentions of its supporters has come through. It isn't about defense. You can't pretend anymore. It's about murder. You just want to kill people.

I cannot understand those who have no sympathy for the Palestinian civilians (infants, children, women, the elderly) caught in the crossfire in the Gaza ghetto. It is time for the international community to put pressure on the Israeli government.

When has condemnation from the Gentiles ever slowed Israel down? Cast Lead went on for about 28 days before 'everybody got mad' and about 21 days when Lebanon was the target. What would Israel have done in those instances once the original campaign had been completed in full?

1967 took place after Israel perfected bombing runways from the air. 2 full years of practice before Egypt 'forced Israel' to use that very move. The last 3 big comapigns have all followed the sucessful developement of the iron dome. Oddly enough in the last one Gaza ended up getting new and improved rockets that just happened to be the size of the ones for the dome that just came on-line. With luck like that the world should just surrender, . . . . not.

The "international community" I've heard a lot of stuff about them, in the past twenty years or so since the label has been popular that same international community has assisted the Israeli's every step of the way. The international community is in fact a Zionist invention. So we can forget any help with justice from them. Look what the international community has done for the Haitians, fockin enslaved them

How about the good people of earth community, to big maybe

It's not lack of sympathy for the children to put the blame where it belongs!
