Looks like it's back to business as usual in Iraq for U.S. troops!

US Troops will not be in Iraq- The units that folded were mainly Sunni, not all, mainly.
The Govt still has approx 300 K troops against appprox 15 k or so.
The uprising can be laid at Prime Minister, Nuri al-Maliki's feet for treating the Sunni like criminals- Sound familiar in Arab countries? He has split the country along ethnic lines.
Anyone with a ffn clue would know that.

The minority are criminals- oops Heretics really.
Iraq will split, what the US should have done in the first place.

No, it can all be laid at the feet of the americans and their "coalition of the willing".

It depends on which estimate you want to believe. I have to prove F**K all! -:)

That's because you can't.

Just you remember, it is the B00Mer's of the world who join the military, and fight for their country..

You mean go over seas to kill innocents and sait their blood lust. Has nothing to do with "fighting for your country".

It's the Liberals of the world who make use of the freedoms won by those soldiers..

No "freedoms" have been "won" for century's.

  1. Invasion of Kuwait On August 2, 1990, Iraqi troops invaded the country of Kuwait. The invasion was induced by oil and a large war debt that Iraq owed Kuwait. The six-week, Persian Gulf War pushed Iraqi troops out of Kuwait in 1991. As the Iraqi troops retreated, they were ordered to light oil wells on fire. Over 700 oil wells were lit, burning over one billion barrels of oil and releasing dangerous pollutants into the air. Oil pipelines were also opened, releasing 10 million barrels of oil into the Gulf and tainting many water sources. The fires and the oil spill created a huge environmental disaster.

Wrong, but whatever you can use to justify your terrorism. Right?

180 degrees wrong, Gerry.

First of all, what exactly do you think the Islamists will do with the wealth, the weapons, and the territory they just captured??

They will find ways to turn it all against the west.

You need to develop a sense of history. The war between Christendom and Islam has been on-going for well over 1.000 years, and it has never really stopped. Charles Martel stopped Islam at Tours, in 752. The Iberian Peninsula was Muslim for hundreds of years, until finally booted out in 1492. The Islamists still consider Spain part of the Muslim world. Islam had Vienna under siege as recently as 1683. The USA had to take on Muslim pirates slaving in the Mediterranean in the early 19th century. The Ottoman Empire only collapsed in 1918............and we have only had any peace with Islam for the last few hundred years because the west so outclassed them in weapons and technology......an advantage we are slowly losing to due Muslim petro-dollars, the new tactic of terrorism, and our own lack of understanding and force of will.

No freedoms have been won for centuries, that is very true. In fact, we are losing our freedom now.......that I will grant you.

But we are light years ahead of the Islamic world in that regard, and our suicidal tendency to allow immigration of strict Muslims, and then to bow to their tradition is simply insane.............
