I couldn't agree with you more. And I'll be the one who's laughing when those men who don't have the balls to stand up for themselves die years before me as a result.
we all have a certain number of days we are going to live...enjoy them and it's all good

You're an idiot and a sexist pig!

What, for standing up to any women who dares nag me? No, mate. It's called sticking up for myself and not letting some woman nag me to an early grave just because she's too bone idle to do the women's jobs at home. What do you want me to do? Just stand there and allow a woman to boss me about and place me under her heal like - I'm gathering from the evidence on this thread - the average henpecked Canadian man would?

You should try it yourself - stick up for yourself and defend your manhood and don't let a woman nag you. You'll live longer, according to that article. Grow some cojones, as you say over there.

We are equal partners

How many female roadsweepers or dustbin collectors do you see? The fact is, almost certainly, none. That's because, despite banging on about "equality" and "not letting the men have all the jobs", women still find it below themselves to do those traditional male jobs like sweeping roads and epmtying people's bins, yet they still expect men to do traditional women's jobs in the home. No. I'm afraid "equality" in the workplace only applies in well-paid jobs company CEOs, bankers or lawyers. When it comes to sweeping the streets or emptying people's dustbins, women just don't want to know.

Odd. You seem to hate the world as it is quite a lot.
Why would you want to live longer in such an unendurable place?

lol.

You don't see many female street cleaners and garbage collectors because the men doing the hiring don't think they are capable and don't give them a chance. I live alone with my 3 girls so I will unblock the toilet, shovel, mow, fix the vacuum cleaner, wash my car...

Just as there are SOME women who nag, there are as many self-centered, chauvinistic men, who believe they would actually be a gift to any woman.

Times have changed and we are teaching our girls to do it all, now we just need to teach Neanderthals like you to open your eyes and realise which century you're in!

Bull****. You don't see women roadsweepers or dustbin collectors simply because women don't want to do those jobs, seeing them as lowly-paid male jobs. Yet those same women still expect MEN to do WOMEN'S jobs at home. "Equality" is a one-way street, it seems.

Just as there are SOME women who nag

They ALL nag, unless they are mute.

Times have changed and we are teaching our girls to do it all

What for? They aren't capable of doing it all, just as we'll find out when David Cameron soon forces the British Armed Forces to go the same way as the second-rate American and Canadian Armed Forces by allowing women to fight on the front line. I feel uncomfortable at the thought of our country's defence depending partially on young women sometimes having to fight big, burly male enemies in hand-to-hand combat and, most likely, coming off second best.

now we just need to teach Neanderthals like you to open your eyes and realise which century you're in!

Nope. We just need to teach PC, henpecked liberals like you how to wake up and see the real world.

And BTW garbage collectors make quite a bit of money, it appears that YOU are the one who finds the job menial.

That's because they do a ****ty job which women, it seems, don't want to do.

Equality in the workplace, rather suspiciously, doesn't seem to apply in ****ty jobs like that.

Oh well, you've seen nothing yet from this one.

He can also find a way to do a complete 180 on you should it serve his need at the time. There's nothing like having the courage of your own convictions right? LOL.

But my absolute favourite is when he waits hours then comes back with a "retort" when the thread is not so active. Pretty sure that's done so he can "have the last word." Must help the henpecked sad sack feel all manly and what not. :)

No, I do that when I have to do something or go somewhere. I'm not waiting to come up with a retort. I don't need to.

Sorry to disappoint you.

Okay, I'm confused, or maybe you are. Is it that we can't do the jobs or we don't want to. Make up your mind. And am I the hen-pecked or the hen-pecking? Again, you contradict yourself here.

And another btw, just repeating yourself without actual counter argument makes you nothing more than just an opinionated blowhard.

IMHO :)

I must phone home this morning and find out what my opinion is about this.

According to the supreme commander my opinion is that I nag her too much. Especially about how slow she drives.
A simple phone call is so much easier than having to think for yourself and then having to change your mind later when you find out your opinion was wrong.

It's because women don't want to do jobs such as roadsweeping or emptying bins. When women strive for "equality in the workplace" it's very noticeable that's in never in ****ty jobs like those. They just leave those jobs for the men to do.

And you can complain all you like. I'm only saying it as it is.

Either women don't want to be roadsweepers or dustbin emptiers and wish to leave those traditionally male jobs for men to do (yet still insist that men do the women's jobs at home) and wish to be equal in workplaces only in jobs which don't involve menial tasks, or they simply aren't capable of lifting a broom or emptying a bin.

You don't believe it's the former, so I'm assuming you think it's the latter.
