The problem is on this subject the voters will side with those who want to move on
The Tories are clinging to their base not realizing the rest are moving away from
them. The time has come to replace this government it is dismantling the social
fabric of the things we fought for over the past sixty years and people are catching
on. Why is it the ordinary people have their portion of the pie diminished while the
upper crust gets additional scoops of raisins in the cereal box
On the subject of rolling the folks are with Trudeau
This makes me think...... If politicians spent more effort on governing with integrity or to the best they can instead of worrying about their image or the other parties popularity then they would have a better chance of getting the support of the population..... ironic no?

Why did I think Zig Zag before I even looked?

Experience?

If Trudeau was pushing to legalize, I could see that getting a lot of the Gen-Xers and Gen-Yers taking more of a look at him

Lot of older people too. We been dodging cops since the 60s for no real reason and are tired of it. Many will not think of the economic consequences of letting just=in get the ability to tax or his lack of ability to make intelligent decisions. Those that are retiring will be expecting him to bring gifts of gold.

The Boomers will be out in force in the vote (seniors always are) and the Gen X & Yers as they are the de facto middle class.

Justine and the libs have no policy or platform. All that exists are some photo-ops and his jokes about the deaths in the Ukranian riots and admiration of brutal dictators.

... If the libs are looking to become a party again, they'll need more than Justine hosting wine and cheese events asking the ladies about their favorite virtues

In the long run perhaps. But I can see them doing it for one term just to get rid of Harper. In four years hopefully they will have had enough and dump just-in.
Look how many dippers got elected in Quebec for no real reason.

Well he did advocate the rich giving to the poor.

I'm pretty sure you can do that without literally having to rob someone.

Obviously.

What do you call high income tax?

Justin Trudeau rolling papers prove a big hit

OTTAWA—A Toronto marijuana activist is doing a brisk trade in rolling papers stamped with Justin Trudeau’s face — and he has the Conservatives to thank for the idea.

Chris Goodwin, manager of Vapor Central in Toronto, has sold more than $500 worth of Trudeau-stamped rolling papers in a little more than a day since they hit the shelves in his marijuana-smoking lounge.

He says he got the idea from reading a story last week in the Star, featuring leaked Conservative plans to disrupt the Liberals’ convention in Montreal this weekend.

One of the gimmicky” tactics discussed by the Conservatives in the memo was a plan to ridicule Trudeau’s pro-legalization policies on marijuana by handing out Zig Zag brand rolling papers at the convention, embossed with Trudeau’s face.

But one person’s attack ad can be another person’s entrepreneurial inspiration — not to mention a financial windfall.

Goodwin said that the more he thought about the “low tactic,” the more it seemed like a good way to have a little political fun with marijuana. He played around with some images and created his own rolling papers, featuring a black-and-white portrait of Trudeau smoking a marijuana cigarette.

The product had an instant “cool factor,” Goodwin says, and more than 100 packs were sold within about 36 hours after they went up for sale for $3.95 each at Vapor Central on Monday morning. They’re also available for sale online at theherbcollective.com.

Several of Vapor Central’s patrons will also be delegates at this weekend’s convention in Montreal, and Goodwin says he’s sending some boxes with them for distribution there.

Goodwin says he’s not sure why the Conservatives figured that Trudeau rolling papers would make the Liberal leader look bad.

“Most people are saying this is a positive thing,” said Goodwin. “These are great collectors’ items.”

That little fact discredits him right there, any politician worth his salt uses Vogue papers! Junior is going to have to try something else to win over the electorate.

How about the endless sermons from the lefties that somehow believe that all societal problems can be solved by shoveling endless amounts of money into a bottomless pit.

Legalizing marijuana saves a ton of money and we all know how much you like saving money.

Well we shall soon be able to quote actual numbers from Colorado and Washington with regard to pot legalization .
If it is shown to have a large decrease in policing and court related costs along with positive tax revenue many other states and provinces will be forced to follow suit .

There is a difference between enacting smart policy and legislation and the leftie practice of solving all that ails ya by burying it with cash.

Personally, I don't have a problem with legalizing pot... Tax the sh!t out of it and treat it like booze and smokes
