Are you stuck with all that grain because of CWB ... or because you know SFA about farming operation?

I live in the bush and grow my own - and rather well, thank you

They don't need trimming or feed. Sunshine, water and soil.
uhuh When leaves n stuff start getting yellow it's because the plant stopped supplying nitrogen to them, but it is still sipplying some energy to them for nop reason. They will die off anyway, so if you trim them off, the plant uses the energy for green stuff.
Feeding once a week helps the plants. PLANT FOOD AND NUTRIENTS Weed (Cannabis) Growing Guide:
We have a expert type dude using some space here for legal growing. He can even tell you the latin terms for each type of pot. If he says trimming and feeding helps the plant to be primo pot, I'll believe him.

Nitrogen fixation. Cannabis is damn good at it.

Today's marijuana can be pretty dangerous because a lot of it is laced with chemicals.

Medical marijuana is supposed to be much milder and you can expect the potency to be around that level if it ever becomes legalized. To be honest it would help get rid of the bad stuff too.

I don't disagree with that ideal... Pot is a naturally occurring herb, although, I will also say that it would be almost impossible to find pot plants in nature that had the kind of THC levels that we see today.
