The central bankers started the war. War has been the main economic engine of all the nations who deal with the private central banks. They have been the tax collectors for a long time. Bankers have one religion and that is money.

And the French- British appeasement of Hitler.

You Americans appeased him for longer, and were making cushty business deals with him whilst he was bombing British cities and invading sovereign states, and would have continued to do so had he not declared war on you.

And that's coming from a person whose country decided to make the Nazi-sympathising Joseph Kennedy America's ambassador to Britain.

He's the guy who persuaded millions of Americans that the British stood no chance in the Battle of Britain.

It was during that battle (which, to the Irish-American's dismay, Britain eventually won), in November 1940, that he made his controversial remarks suggesting that "Democracy is finished in England. It may be here, [in the US]."

He subsequently lost his job.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joseph_P._Kennedy,_Sr.#cite_note-ReferenceA-3

He did lose his job. That says a lot. I'm no fan of the Kennedy's.

One of the great sporting and political myths is that Adolf Hitler snubbed Jesse Owens during the 1936 Berlin Olympics. He didn't. It was actually Franklin D. Roosevelt who snubbed him.

While it was no secret that Joe Kennedy was a con man, a pimp and a bootlegger, I don't think it was proven beyond a reasonable doubt that he was a Nazi Sympathizer.

The Soviets and Soviet wannabes in Europe started WWII.
Bolshevik uprising lead to a hard core Right Wing Deutche Nationalist party using the techniques of Stalin and Khrushchev to dominate and take over the minds of the people in their own way through Nationalism and ethnic identity and rebuilt the industrial giant.

The Bolsheviks contained an ethnic core as well and had a major underground network with the Soviets. Hitler watched how the Bolsheviks starved and enslaved ethnic Ukrainians and Balkans into the Bolshevik ways. He saw them coming for the rest of Europe when nobody else saw the threat.

He did warn but...

Hitler was an ultra right wing person, with ultra right wing ideas
National Socialism was right not left. Making deals with Britain
was easy the government was in sympathy to much of Hitlers
beliefs even Edward the once king was a friend.
Hitler had two objectives to "Turn Back the Clock" and a "New
World Order" his words exactly.
Britain was not cowardly they were in sympathy until Churchill
came along, America did what it did in WWI they sat on the
sidelines making money until it was time to take a stand. Everyone
else was there in 1914 for WWI America came in around 1917.
Same for WWII they waited a couple of years.
The cause of WWII? Greed and getting out of a depression caused
by the world powers the same cause as every other war.
