Gotta be true- The Iranians are always telling the truth. With one exception- When they are not.

Well I am sure that any disinterested analysis of western news would reveal a complete lack of factual basis for ninety percent of the rubbish that passes through our infotainment organs including weather and sports.

"'The MoD can confirm" that's the same source that confirmed Saddams WMDs. The MoD quite obviously confirms what it is told to confirm by Israel or one of it's other numerous handlers.

So they are just like the Americans and every other govt.

Well consider if you leak State Secrets to the press- Not referring to Snowden like stuff- Just the stuff we see out of the Pentagon, WH and such- What happens in Iran, what happens in the US?

No sh*t Sherlock! The past 12 years have been a scam.
Why would you believe that I thought otherwise.
Information has to be cleaned, looked over, reviewed, checked out, then do it over and over again.
Assad had no reason other than insanity to perpetrate an attack when the UN was coming in.
And Sarin along with others can be found in the soil years after an attack. They showed that in Iraq and the Kurdish areas that Saddam attacked with chemicals.

Well I trust him more than some yahoo dictator in the ME.

Obama has his agenda- he has fuked up severely on the Syrian problem- First he stated there were Red Lines-
Then he denied ever setting Red Lines. Fuk me.
He has been a freaking disaster on Foreign Policy.
The Pentagon is against it- why- No end game- no goals- no sense- he is making policy as each day passes.
He then decides he needs cover so it is then sent to the Congress.
But the evidence is classified. So the public cannot be informed.
His death toll numbers do not match the French or Doctors Without Borders.
Both sides have had access to chemical weapons and both sides are willing to use them.
Where was Obama on the past 10 or 12 or so chemical attacks. Oh yes- No where.

Israeli Cruise Missiles Fired At Syria Destroyed by US Navy

An urgent action report prepared by the Russian Defense Ministry for President Putin said that the two Israeli ballistic cruise missiles which were fired by an Israeli Dolphin-class submarine in the Eastern Mediterranean, near the Syrian waters, on September 3 were destroyed by the US Navy, adding that Tel Aviv was about to start the war on Syria on that day.
Though not explicitly stated in this MoD report, but speculated upon, Russian defense intelligence experts contributing to it note that Israel may have been attempting to start this war by an unprovoked attack upon Syria that would be blamed on the Americans and whose effect would be the starting of at least a wide-ranging regional war, or at its worst, World War III.

Wouldn't surprise me if this is true.

Israel is America's worse enemy and it will stop at nothing to provoke another war. Watch for another "terrorist" attack whether at home or abroad - it may be coming sooner than you might imagine.

The Middle East, explained in one (sort of terrifying) chart

What could be simpler than the Middle East? A well-known Egyptian blogger who writes under the pseudonym The Big Pharaoh put together this chart laying out the region’s rivalries and alliances. He’s kindly granted me permission to post it, so that Americans might better understand the region. The joke is that it’s not a joke; this is actually pretty accurate.

Click to enlarge and you will either have a seizure or fully comprehend the Middle East. (Courtesy The Big Pharaoh)

Spend a few minutes staring at this and you will either have a seizure or actually comprehend the Middle East. Egypt is represented by the “MB” (Muslim Brotherhood) and “Sisi” for military leader Gen. Abdel Fatah al-Sissi. (Courtesy The Big Pharaoh)

There are rivals who share mutual enemies, allies who back opposite sides of the same conflict, conflicting interests and very strange bedfellows. There are two categories of countries: the ones that meddle (the United States, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Turkey and Israel) and the ones that are meddled with (Egypt, Syria, Lebanon and the Palestinian territories). Each of the former is pushing for a different outcome in each of the latter, falling in and out of cooperation and competition. And that long-running interference is an important part of why conflict persists.

It’s all kind of a scramble. The Big Pharaoh writes: “I keep on updating this chart because every time I look at it I discover that I’ve missed an arrow. That’s how complicated it is.”

The chart is a spin-off of the most amazing letter to the editor ever written, which appeared in Thursday’s Financial Times. It also explained the entire Middle East, in a few short sentences. Here they are:

Sir, Iran is backing Assad. Gulf states are against Assad!

Assad is against Muslim Brotherhood. Muslim Brotherhood and Obama are against General Sisi.

But Gulf states are pro-Sisi! Which means they are against Muslim Brotherhood!

Iran is pro-Hamas, but Hamas is backing Muslim Brotherhood!

Obama is backing Muslim Brotherhood, yet Hamas is against the U.S.!

Gulf states are pro-U.S. But Turkey is with Gulf states against Assad; yet Turkey is pro-Muslim Brotherhood against General Sisi. And General Sisi is being backed by the Gulf states!

Welcome to the Middle East and have a nice day.

KN Al-Sabah,
London EC4, U.K.

U.S. Military Intelligence Involved in Chemical Attack in Syria

Voltaire Network | Moscow (Russia) | 5 September 2013
A photo taken by Marco di Lauro/AP in Iraq in 2003 was presented by US State Secretary Kerry on August 30, 2013 as evidence of "Assad’s chemical attack." The situation in Syria is still in focus of the world media. Another U.S.-led “humanitarian intervention” may be unleashed soon. The Pentagon announced that it is ready to attack Syria in order to punish Bashar al-Assad and Syrian army for the alleged use of chemical weapons against the civilians.
Meanwhile, the new evidence of the U.S. intelligence being involved in chemical attack near Damascus on August 21, 2013 has been leaked to Internet.
A hacker got access to the U.S. intelligence correspondence and published private emails of Col. Anthony J. Macdonald, who is the General Staff Director, Operations and Plans Office of the Deputy Chief of Staff for Intelligence the US Army Staff.
In an email exchange on August 22, 2013 with the US Army civilian analyst Eugene P. Furst congratulates Col. on successful operation and refers him to a Washington Post publication about chemical attack in Syria.
