Seems to me that the dribbles-on-himself-while-mad-as-hell-at-cons cobalt kid could have saved us 3 pages by just saying that 'Gestapo' was a little over the top but he still thinks harper eats kittens and is a very bad man and fuk you all for butting-in.

The freaking nerve of some people just stating their own opinions like this is some sort of open forum, eh?
I have no problem with him stating his opinion. I simply found it exaggerated, and asked him repeatedly if he had anything besides "This is bad, mmm-kay?"
Apparently the answer is that Cobalt Kid has no answer, no suggestion, and frankly no interest beyond whining like a premenstrual cheerleader who's had her cellphone taken away.

Far as I'm concerned they should have just said to themselves 'oh, it's just cobalt again' and passed-up the thread. But some feel the need to 'white-knight' and they too end up ranting like a lunatic. I don't agree with the kid either but holy crap...it's his opinion is all. Big deal.
I was referring to everybody else voicing their opinions. It was meant to be sort of ironic given the vigorous defending by CK of the guy in the article who was arrested for basically doing the same thing, you know?
I don't care about opinions, they are a dime a dozen and only mean anything to me if I choose to let them. I do take a tiny issue with 'tude though; it's just a thing with me.

Well bud, you quoted and went after gerryh first for supporting the 'Gestapo' term used. Cobalt and his OP didn't seem to bother you up to that point.
You'll also remember that gerry had the brains and experience to not need to bother engaging you with your n00b, forum debating-society tactics with dated and worn-out cliches, yadda yadda mmm-'kay? In fact, you also never continued with the gerry angle but switched to the kid because, in all likelihood, gerry has no time for someone like you. We're not new here ya know.
You continued with the kid because you wanted to be perceived as some type of elder statesman who we'll all admire, respect and adore who is 'winning' something. Here's news; on the internet, you don't.

You may find it hard tobfathom but cops are also taxpayers and may very well want to hear how their council is squandering their tax money.
