There are no race or sex employment quotas or preferences in the Federal government. There is an Indian hiring preference in Indian-specific agencies such as the Bureau of Indian Affairs and the Indian Health Service.
I'd get turned down for a casino job because I'm a honky. That's about it in these parts.

If it's of any interest to you, I oppose any and all differential treatment of Indians, including the existence of reservations. But nobody asked me, and it ain't like the issue comes up a lot in our elections.

So much deflection. Frustration. Foaming at the mouth.

What if...what if...what if. The speculation is about as exciting as a dry fart.

Buddy was found not guilty of second-degree murder. He's a free man.

Some people have a problem with that. Some lunatics have a real problem with that.

I hope his family remains safe and can resume their lives. Same for George (whatever limited path he might have been on anyway).

Northern Ontario,
I don't know about you but I heard the 911 tape.

911 dispatcher:
Are you following him? [2:24]
Zimmerman:
Yeah. [2:25]
911 dispatcher:<<<<<<<<Not a police officer
OK.
We don’t need you to do that. [2:26]<<<<<<<<<<<<not an order
Zimmerman:
OK. [2:28]
911 dispatcher:
Alright, sir, what is your name? [2:34]
Zimmerman:
George. He ran.
911 dispatcher:
Alright, George, what’s your last name?
Zimmerman:
Zimmerman.
911 dispatcher:
What’s the phone number you’re calling from?

I'd love to see the oppressive Rez system dismantled too.

It needs to be a cop to tell somebody to smarten the f*ck up? I can get one to call you if that's what you need to get a clue.

That's a really apt description, especially when it comes to the speculation about black riots and race wars and all manner of lunacy. Very apt.
That's what he wanted. It must be disappointing nothing happened.

That's all a person needs to know. Right there.

Self defense is not self defense if you have to chase them down.
But he wasn't profiling, stalking or playing Batman. Oh no. He was doing what neighbourhood watch is supposed to do. Martin got what he deserved because he beat up the person who stalked and confronted him for being in his own gated community.

lmao Riiiiiiight.
It's true. TV said so.

Ok, so it wasn't police instructions. But it was an instruction from someone that likely has a vast amount more experience with emergency situations than Zimmerman and was probably following guidelines supplied by the police. Zimmerman was a fool. The event might have done a complete 180 from what happened because he didn't follow experienced advice. He could have been the one killed. Get over it.

I hope his family does too Loc. I hope this guy's conscience kicks in. If it does, he will never have another peaceful day in his life.

Ya see, I am one of your accused, and guilty as charged who see it as an unjust ending to a tragic case. I see a 17 year old kid dead, and it didn't have to be if buddy had a brain and the ability to analyse the situation and a high self esteem. I have to tell ya most of the males in my life are very balanced Loc. Had they been there this kid, he would be alive. Not gunned down by an imbecile with the inability to make a quick decision or with a need to get even. He must have been super out of shape to let a kid like that best him And that is exactly what happened here. He would not be bested, and he is out of shape with an average IQ and a gun. Let's not analyze the obvious.

Just to put your mind at ease so ya don't worry about me at night, I am not foaming at the mouth. In fact, contrary to what you hope for every time you post one of your uber right winged leaning posts, it just saddens me that this kid is dead. I don't care if he goes free, the jury has spoken and me, I'm into karma. It will all even out. But in the mean time, a life has been taken and it didn't have to be.

It just didn't have to be and that is tragic.

He almost was the one killed..
And if you listened to the entire tape, you will notice that after he says, he's running or something to that effect, at no time does did he sound winded like someone chasing another afterwards for almost 2 minutes until the conversation ended....
If Trayvon was running longer legs, lighter on his feet than Zimmerman, with a 2minutes head start.....how the heck would he manage to catch up to him...
Could it be that trayvon lay in wait for him???......Naah ...impossible!

There is an Indian hiring preference in Indian-specific agencies such as the Bureau of Indian Affairs and the Indian Health Service. There is also a preference for certain categories of veterans and for disabled veterans.

Additionally, there are certain set-asides in Federal contracting for small businesses, minority-owned businesses, woman-owned businesses, and businesses owned by the disabled.

Right... there are no "quotas". Wink wink nod nod

lol Nothing like assuming facts not in evidence, is there. Didn'tcha hear the verdict .......... not enough evidence? Ya don't think the kid might have been trying to find a place to hide from Zimmerman? That ain't a possibility?
Either way, it's irrelevant; Zimmerman, or should I say Batmanwannabe, SHOULD have followed instructions and stayed put.
