I guess that would depend on how scared the kid was. What do you suppose Martin thought about the strange adult man following him. Hell I know how I would feel and I am an adult women!
I'll bet he was real scared with that adult man shorter than he was.........

If he was scared he should have fuked off at the high port. He was close to home from what I recall.
Even if that is the official version which is still subject to doubt Zimmermans is guilty.
Here is why, first of all Zimmermann by calling 911 is rendering jurisdiction to the cops
as is normal. On the 911 tape they said don't follow him and he did, therefore he
provoked his beating. Had he not done the follow up or confronted the Martin who did
nothing this would not have happened.
Here comes some guy and decides to attempt to detain you for doing nothing, remember
no one saw Martin do anything according to Zimmerman he looked suspicious that's it.
If it were me and someone tried to detain me on the street and he was not a cop I would
defend myself and if it meant beating his head on the pavement so be it I would have no
reservations about doing so.
I have had someone attempt to stop me on the steet years ago, and I did beat the hell out
of him and rightfully so I defended myself and he went to the hospital. Zimmerman had no
jurisdiction to hold anyone that is why he called 911 to get police therefore he got what he
deserved and did not have the right to shoot the kid who for his part was fending off an
attacker.. Zimmerman is a wannabe cop and nothing more than a punk in my view,

"You don't need to do that" is not forbidding him which in any case a 911 operator does not have the authority to do ...something which has been repeated numerous times to you.

The Affidavit identified the voice screaming for help as that of Martin based on an interview with his mother, but did not reveal what we now know, that Martin’s father initially denied it was his son.
The Affidavit also was inaccurate, such as alleging that the 911 operator “instructed Zimmerman not” to follow Martin — a false fact which lives on in the media mythology of the case.

True, Sal.........but without the proper context ie date of photo........the implication might be that he was winking because he got away with something. Had the photo been taken immediately after the verdict was read..............that might very well be what would cross my mind.
I did not follow much of the trial except for hearing mention of it on Canadian nightly news and some of the more factual - less inflammatory articles I read in newspapers.
I just finished watching an interview with Hannity, Mr Zimmerman and his lawyer. I heard Mr Zimmerman describe the entire event. I found his description credible. I found him to be sincere, very low key and entirely believable. He did not at all strike me as the type of person capable of great artifice.
I belong to Rural Crime Watch and for a time I helped out on patrols. We always had to be partnered. We were not allowed to go on anyone's property without prior written permission of the owner. If we saw anything at all suspicious we had to call the RCMP immediately.

Any incident involving mixed races is always going to generate controversy, the point often raised by people who know absolutely nothing else about the event. The only fault I see is why a six person jury and apparently all white women. The whole trial should have been disqualified on day one. No doubt the judge is an imbecile!
