Noted right-wing nut-job conspiracy site Yahoo! News briefly joined the “birther” camp today, making note that President Obama wouldn’t be swinging by his “country of birth” when he and the first family visit Africa later this month.

True story. The construction project I am working on in Northern BC is run by Americans. Most of them are fairly decent people but have some really strange political views. One guy is convinced Obama is filling the White house with muslims to screw the country. Apparently there were never any muslims in the US until Obama came along. Poor guy couldn't explain how this is any worse than filling the Whitehouse with fundamentalist christians. Forgot to ask him how he would feel if Obama filled it with Jews or Catholics. I will try to remember to do that.

A sad day when someone has to flee to those "powerful bastions of internet freedom" to escape your bastion of "freedom." Says an awful lot about you've become now doesn't it.?

And really, threatening everyone with "consequences" is not going to buy you good will or co-operation. In fact.... we're all ROFL'ing all over the place at how stupid and dumb you all look.

The US is slowly becoming one of the Worlds major police states. Spying on your own population has the earmarks of the KGB, Stasi, Gestapo,etc.

Frightening the Public about terrorism has enabled the Government to enact legislation which wittles away at the American Constitutions basic amendments.

Actually, this started out as a joke thread that I put in American politics, because politics is the greatest comedy of all, but it seems to have grown on it's own :lol:

Hate is a very strong motivator and this forum is one filled with an endless array of hate for Obama and the USA. Small wonder why they want him to fail and why their political allies have done their best to sabotage his administration.
