~30% of Americans advocate armed apostasy

Back in the 1770's, people called the colonists that were rebelling against Great Britain's refusal to give the the rights of Englishmen crazy too. But, they succeeded in their quest. They were the first of MANY British colonies to rebel against the mother country. In fact, I believe that Canada is the ONLY large colony that never revolted.

If government will not protect the rights of the citizens, then a revolution may well be necessary. No less a person than Thomas Jefferson, who largely wrote the "Declaration of Independence", and later served as President of the United States of America advocated just such actions.

So I might as well have some of it then.

Why should you have some?

How are the ammo shortages coming along these days? Still being gobbled up by the case load because the world is fine and dandy?

Well if you listen to the dopey Democrat Congresswoman that says high capacity magazines are bullets and if they stop manufacturing the magazines the gun owners will eventually use up all the magazines and not have anymore.

Did you know that Magazines ARE bullets? Colorado dem explains - YouTube

...so we won't have any magazines by the time the revolution comes around. Oh well

I was referencing the twenty dollarCDN bet I made with you six or seven posts back. If you are considering just giving me some instead of the bet that's fine as well. How much can I have? I need new teeth and glasses and the car is getting drafty and I also need an expensive operation to make me look young and beautiful again. Should I look in my mailbox in the morning?

Why should you have some?

Could the level of idiocy displayed by many US American politicians perhaps be part of the reason for talk of rebellion?

Wer're very nice up here.

I can't see armed insurrection in the US. Pockets of it maybe, if the schism widens. But, for any one who has travelled to some of the nastier corners of the globe, it's pretty clear that, warts and all, the US is still one of the best places in the world to live, apart from Canada of course.

Actually, I would rate the odds of armed insurrection higher in Canada. The natives are resetless. And it's not on the hot plate now, but the Quebec separatism issue is always simmering away back there. A quebec seaparation could cause problems.

My favourite drive-thru liquor and guns joint in North Dakota has me on a waiting list.

Actually, the U.S. and Ireland are the only colonies that engaged in violent revolution. Canada, Australia, and New Zealand gained effective independence by negociation, India by civil disobedience.

The Fight Against USURY byÂ* JüriBenjamin Franklin wrote of the British colonies in North America in the 1750s: "Nowhere on Earth does one find a happier and more well-being people." He explained that this was due to that "we in the colonies make our own currency," called "colonial scrip." He further explained: "By issuing our own currency we can control its buying power, and we are not obliged to pay interest to anyone."
In these British colonies in New England, there was a wealth contrasting sharply to the poverty and misery in England. There was enough money, and it was definitely interest free.
When the Masonic bankers in England heard Franklin's speech to the British Parliament, they made sure that Parliament forbade the colonies to use their own financial system and instead demanded they use interest money in gold and silver. Only an insufficient amount of this money was to be available. The money supply was reduced in half, and the colonies were forced to borrow money from the Bank of England. The result was steep interest and price increases. Within a year the streets were full of unemployed people.
In American schoolbooks the reason given for the outbreak fif the Revolutionary War was the tea tax. but according to Franklin "the colonies would gladly have borne the little tax" (of 2 percent) on tea and other matters had it not been that England took away from the colonies their money which created unemployment and dissatisfaction." The result of the influence of the English banks on the British Parliament was horrendous poverty in America. When this situation had been created, it was easy to get people ready for war which the Freemasons did with satisfaction. They wanted a safe base for their future global activities.

What is a Homeland Security unit?

If you can't buy ammo can you still get fishing hooks?
Homeland Security is now a full Department in the US government including the Coast Guard, Immigration and Customs (ICE), Transportation Security (Airport and other transport methods protection) and 48,000 other employees who stand around scratching their gonads until it is time to clock out. Some even have trained Scent dogs for detection of controlled or banned goods.

Seriously, do you think small arms are going to stand up to the US military? I chuckle when NRA nuts think they are a bulwark against government persecution against their ever evolving rights.

Fortunately for us we can now read most everything on line and no longer need magazines.
