and what's your point in posting a video from 1998? We all know that Iraq had WMD at one point. We all know he used WMD's against Iran and the Kurds. That really has no bearing on whether or not he had got rid of those WMD's and the ability to manufacture WMD's by the time the americans decided to lay waste to Iraq with their coalition.

And Hans Blix's report which discredited all prior claims about WMD came out just before Bush's invasion.

George Bush is the CiC. He and his administration made the case for war and gave the orders to attack Iraq.

Please vote in the poll or offer another opinion other than the ones I listed.

Mostly Bush & Co felt there were WMD for a good reason.

So how about adding "The government in power were pretty sure Iraq had WMD because they sold the making of them to Iraq."

Guess who's oil wells were confisticated when the Iraqy oil fields were nationalized.

And Saddam's behavior with the UN from Gulf War 1 to the invasion is what led to this war. No one believed him after all the lies he told.

You need to take a good look at the Downing Street Memo which I have posted here innumerable times.

But, no - the real fault is here:

I think Cheney and Rumsfeld deceived Bush. Bush was too dumb to figure out a lie like that.

If you look closely, you will see just how much Bush looked like Howdy Doody.
I agree with that, but I have to say I thought Bush looked like Alfred E Newman.

in all honesty, there might be some strange resemblance:

As for Tony B_Liar, there's this:

Tony Blair and Iraq: The damning evidence - UK Politics - UK - The Independent

Hitherto unseen evidence given to the Chilcot Inquiry by British intelligence has revealed that former prime minister Tony Blair was told that Iraq had, at most, only a trivial amount of weapons of mass destruction (WMD) and that Libya was in this respect a far greater threat.
Intelligence officers have disclosed that just the day before Mr Blair went to visit president George Bush in April 2002, he appeared to accept this but returned a "changed man" and subsequently ordered the production of dossiers to "find the intelligence" that he wanted to use to justify going to war.

As one commentator says:

"This is a perversion of the use of intelligence." We knew that didn't we? Blair is a perversion in human form, full stop. He needs to answer for his lies and crimes in a court of law.
