Lettuce not be hasty...
The last time I went to my doctor because I just could not recover from a stomach virus, she told me it was probably the salad I had ordered when I had eaten out. Makes you think twice about those nice green salads because they are raw...at least with meat and fries there's a chance they have been cooked to death.
with stuff like that, resistance is futile...:thumbright::thumbright::thumbright:LETTUCE NOT BE HASTY:: !!!:blob3:

Lettuce pray.............:roll:moannnnnnn!!
nothing civilized after though huh, nothing like exits from both ends at the same time to remind us we are vulnerable to something so miniscule it takes a microscope to view it.Broccoli got me bout ten days ago just south of PEI, it was a nice civilized dinner and then bang.
:laughing2:

organic food is not really inspected at the farm level like most people believe.
The paper work is inspected not the product or even the farm for that matter.
If you want your eyes open about this read Mischa Popoff's book "Is it organic"
Mischa is an organic inspector, he doesn't practice anymore but he wrote the
book to inform people If you like reading it is a good read. You can get it on
line. Or some book stores carry it as well.
I wouldn't buy organic for a number of reasons. One there is less control than
conventional product, and its over priced as well. There is no difference
between conventionally grown apples and organic apples for example. No
pesticide or herbisides penetrate the fruit.
The other misnomer, is organic growers don't used pesticides, they do in fact.
There are any number of organic pesticides that are more deadly than anything
chemically produced.
The only way to assure the quality of your food is to grow it yourself or know the people who do.There was an interesting article in Readers' Digest several years ago. Organic food may taste a little better but no more nutritious and no more value for the extra cost. I have a book somewhere, that I've had for about 30 years written by a butcher in Langley about all the tricks of the meat trade. You wouldn't believe all the sh*t that goes on in the meat industry, one was adding water to hamburger to get the weight up. Also good advice on what cuts of meat to buy for economy, like buy roasts and cut your own steaks for about $1 lb. cheaper (in those days).
lmao...imagine being unable to get out of the taxi on time, just a few blocks, very long lights, a breakdown ahead, romance at zero, reputation destroyed, job lost, divorced abandoned, left for dead, I should have washed my hands![]()
