I know alot of people who get hangry when they miss out on lunch and most of the time they make bad decisions and lash out at people... I swear ive seen it and thats only after missing one meal. :lol:... Im actually starting to wonder if she is really actually starving herself because that fish broth must be made with little shreds of fish meat for nutrients or something.... She aint only taking vitamin pills and drinking water thats for sure........

Bremusa, you are new here and I am relatively new in that I am just returning after a long hiatus. Surely you are not new to internet forums and thus are aware that they all have their own melieu. How one chooses to jump into that is purely up to the individual.

Having said that each forum is different, there is something which is always the same; you set the tone for how people treat you just like in real time. And just like in real time what we put out, mirrors exactly what rebounds, thus we need to think carefully about what we put out by deciding how we want to be treated.

Also, like any village we merge well with some, not so well with others and clash with yet others. And what you as a newbie see as violent confrontation may be how two members happily and consistently interact.

There is a space and a place for each including you if you want to be included in that. A little respect for and observation of the village life is always a good thing in my experience. ;-)

You know what always goes really nice with bouillabaisse?... A nice fresh loaf of bread. They were practically made for each other... It's almost criminal not to have bread with the 'broth'... I know that Chief Spence follows the letter of the law to a 'T', so some bread doesn't count against any violation of her hunger strike

Well put Sal, when I first encountered Bermusa's post I was quite impressed thinking she is a well grounded and sensible person. Maybe she just has to find a way of seeing the humour in things!
