really. I don't remember reading anything about a decrease in her mental abilities. Maybe you could point me in the direction where that is being reported?

Going for a lengthy time without the proper nutrients that a body needs would affect a persons capacities including decision making. Whether it is reported on not is not relevant.

What is "relevant" is the fact that far too many unsubstantiated accusations and outright lies have been told concerning all of this to be adding the "mental" angle.

Going without the nutrients that a body needs, based on a long term will affect the body. I am not aware of any media reports concerning her mental state due to her so called hunger strike.

Oh, I'm sorry, I was running off practicality and life experience. Ever been hungry, seen someone whose blood sugar or hormones are out of whack? The news today is reporting her turning on the media, there've been reports about how her health is failing, her stomach is cramping.... all of that effects your ability to make wise decisions about things like trying to have reporters arrested. She shouldn't be making those calls right now.

And no... no link other than common sense.

It goes without saying, Karrie, that one generally does his/her best when they are feeling well. Pretty much a no brainer!

Ya know what, i have to stand up here and point out that if one of us women was ever disagreeing with a man, and his response was 'hey baby, you're bangable', the forum as a whole, and the mods specifically, would be on them like white on rice. Uncool.

If you call what is going on in here disagreeing your fooling your self into thinking this so called forum is anything but a kill zone.
You people are eating one another up like it is an Olympic event.

It might take a few days or a week for a noob to realize it but you people are nothing but a war zone.

Well enjoy your little hate fest you have going on in here, there really isn't much else.
It seems you all been doing it for years.

And yes I understood your humour retread soldier , your not that deep.

As for us wanting this guy, our humour went over your head karrie.

i no longa amuse ya

heck no, not a kill zone. but definitely not for the faint of heart. Keep in mind we've all been 'noobs' on this board.

and yes, taking it to sex, no matter what you meant by it, is taking it to sex.

Gosh darn it eh?

Bummer for Spence and for the Chiefs who stole the limelight from the ladies from North Central Regina who started Idle No More.

When do these women who started it all get answers to their questions and help with their concerns gerryh?

Conerns of the highest HIV/AIDS and other STDs rates in the free world.

Concerns of the prostitution of little girls, boys women and men that rivals SE Asia.

Concenrs of the highest rates of substance abuse fed by the extremly corrupt thugs running the streets, jails, prisons and Rezes?

The squalor of URBAN off Rez housing and the desperate need for affordable housing not just for Natives but for everyone.

The men who are dads but don't have a clue how to be fathers, men who were sucked into the Criminal Justice System and almost as often moms who aren't there for the same reasons.

The Millions of men and women who have ciminal records or just need GED and can't get the high paying jobs available and opportunities that are abundant and sometime even set aside.

Conerns about radical Chiefs and other sometimes extremley well armed militant Rez radicals who could give a rat's azz about urban concerns.

Radicals who blackmail Govt and business (even on Rez Native developers) into goofy one time payouts that create nothing but animoity straight across the board

Radicals who drain lakes, over fish/hunt, sabotage resource developers and do everything they can to hamper business relationship for those who want prosperity, employment security and families.

Radicals who abandon those who live urban and not on the Rez of education and Social Services assistance.

Radicals who grow weed and make meth on Rez to feed to the urban organized crime networks.

Radicals who smuggle guns, cocaine and heroin from US connections.

Every city has neighbourhoods like Regina's North Central and Downtown Core where Idle No More was started to deal with these local issue but spread nation wide and again the Rezes abandoned the urban concerns.

Who is the Chief representing Regina's and all the other urban issues that started Idle No More gerryh?

Our frustrated MPs and MLAs will be at the meeting trying to deal with the same Chiefs that abandon the urban people?

If they try anything against theses Chiefs they get pegged as racists don't they gerryh?

Go for it gerryh, be our Chief.

Come to Regina and set up your tent trailer at the Rez owned carwash and demand to be made Chief or you'll never eat lunch again.

Global News crew threatened with arrest in Attawapiskat

A Global News crew was escorted off the Attawapiskat reserve in northern Ontario and threatened with arrest after trying to do a story on living conditions in the community.

Jennifer Tryon, Global National's senior investigative correspondent, and photojournalist Trevor Owens travelled to the area Tuesday afternoon, but were met with resistance minutes after they arrived.

"Well, we got to the airport and made it to our lodging without incident," Tryon told Global National anchor and executive editor Dawna Friesen over the phone.

When Acting Chief Christine Kataquapit asked Tryon and Owens to leave, the pair thought it was a joke at first. "But then (Kataquapit) said the chief (Theresa Spence) has asked you to leave the community – for all media to leave the community. And we sort of looked at each other, and we realized that it actually wasn't a joke, and they weren't going to allow anyone to speak to the media here."

If I was Harper I think I'd tell her I'd be very happy to meet with her to take a gander at $100 million worth of receipts!-:)
He can't talk about them with someone under investigation as a representatve of the complainants who iniated the investigation against her and the Attawapiskat First Nation Council.

That makes it even easier, I'd tell her I can't meet with her prior to the conclusion of an investigation into the missing $100 mil!-:)
