Most ISM members are young idealistic people with bright futures just like Rachel Corrie was until she was ran over by an Israeli bulldozer for standing in the way of IDF efforts to demolish Palestinian homes .
I can understand why you might consider ISM members to be naive, ignorant, wrong... and so on. But erroneously portraying them as violent terrorists risks their safety. As a result I have moral and ethical problems with your posts.
ES... Your dishonest portrayal of ISM members as violent terrorists is more than just promoting erroneous misinformation.... YOU are also endangering their lives. If any ISM members are attacked and injured/killed because an IDF soldier believed Kaplan's erroneous portrayal of them as an armed terrorists, then Kaplan would have blood on his hands.
Thankfully Israeli security services have identified the ISM as NOT a security threat. These people are a political threat to Israel's status quo, not the State of Israel itself which is a nuclear power that presently cannot be defeated militarily.

How about starting a thread- When a Member is caught lying- they take a self imposed Ban for 3 days the first time- 7 days the second time - 2 weeks, then 4 weeks, and increases by 2 weeks each time.
This would also include quoting Members out of context.
I even have an impartial member who I would recommend. That Member would make the ruling. No arguing - the member would read the posts and make their own conclusion. Decision is final- No PM`s back and forth- No appeals- decision made.
Now the self imposed ban applies to all threads. not just that one.

The growth of this wonderful young couple is directly tied to the growth of the International Solidarity Movement. They met in Jerusalem while volunteering for an organisation called Seeds of Peace. He, Adam Shapiro, a ‘nice Jewish boy’ from Brooklyn, she, Huwaida Arraf, A Palestinian-American from Detroit. They were wed shortly afterwards and have been busy raising their ‘child’ over the past few years, The International Solidarity Movement.
ISM is not like other organisations that meet once a month to discuss a particular situation, they are out there ‘in the field’ doing what has to be done. Obviously they are doing it right if the zionists despise them. As the old saying goes… “an enemy of my enemy is my friend”……
Just what exactly do these people do? Have you ever seen a woman stand up to armed Israeli soldiers and tell them to stop the shooting? You can see it in this video taken yesterday in Nabi Saleh, Huwaida Arraf vs the IDF……

This thread is about Rachel Corrie and the ISM. A picture of Rachel Corrie before and after her death are relevant to this thread. But if the mods have a problem with that image, then I support them removing it.
I also recommend that you look at the young idealistic people whose lives you risk with your deliberately manipulative misinformation regarding what the ISM is, what they do and how they do it. When the next ISM is killed like Rachel Corrie, I intend to post their image too, so you can see the results of your efforts to erroneously portray the ISm as an armed terrorist group.
