I'd have to drive to Scarborough to pick up an automatic weapon, that would take 2 hours.
I can hit the local "The Source" and Co-Op, and have a bomb with a far greater ability to maim and kill, in less time. With completely legal purchases, and without any restriction on my purchases.

Yes and exactly how does a gun dealer recognize who is likely to shoot up a school, movie house, or a political event?? The system the pro gun people want, obviously doesn't work!! The answer now is to provide more guns to shoot down the nutcases. What next.....everyone wearing bullet proof vests, or walking around with a bullet proof full body shield !!
The system should be..... a complete mental screening of every person wanting a gun. It will be very expensive. Those purchasing the guns would pay for the time of the psychiatrist and/or the psychologist; and the exams should be manditory every six months. Those caught with illegal guns should be required to attend the autopsy of a gunshot victim and to actually pack up the specimens for the laboratory.
