True, but he's be safer in Israel preaching his hate for Jews, than he would be in most Muslim countries preaching hate for Muslims.
Let me know when Canada starts unshakably supporting human rights abuses, war crime and crimes against humanity in these countries. Then I will write about those topics. Until then, I will continue to post references to reputable source which point out Israeli human rights abuses, war crimes and crimes against humanity not reported by Canada's MSM or condemned by our political leaders.

I support our government's position regarding Syria. Our MSM has a strong anti-Syrian government slant, so Canadians are getting all the gory details.
Our MSM media does not report on the Israeli Palestinian conflict with the same level of detail and support for the victims as they do currently regarding the conflict in Syria. What's going on in Syria has been going on in Israel on and off for over 40 years.
By the way, CB claimed the Khadr's are antisemitic without posting a reference supporting his viepoint. I don't know whether they are or aren't. But I found nothing to confirm CB's belief. Can either of you two post a link proving the Khadr family hates Jews?

His Lawyers were adamant that his parole etc include keeping him away from the ones - Parents- Grandparents-that turned him into a terrorist- child soldier- call him what you will. They should be charged for child abuse, accomplice to murder, then sent FFn home. Yes- skip the jail time after sentencing- Off with ya.

You might be surprised how much sympathy I do have for Khadr.
Although NOT a child soldier (14 or younger), Khadr was definitely a brainwashed youngster when he was caught in the fight in which he was captured.
I do NOT believe he is guilty of murder. Throwing a grenade at the guys that just had a 2000 lb bomb dropped on you seems to me to be a natural action of one at war.
Now, the problem is that he should have been turned over to the locals for immediate execution........but he wasn't And so now he is our problem.
The question hinges on whether or not he has grown........is he still a Islamist (and therefore a threat), or has his political outlook matured???? I really don't want to find out in a burst of shrapnel.....
What REALLY sickens me is the hero's welcome he is apt to get by the folks pictured on that faux magazine cover.......that is why I posted it...
Oh, and his adult family should be tried for treason, convicted, and hanged from lamp posts down Yonge Street.

How about absolving those individuals that shoot on police/authorities simply because they have were cornered or fired upon. Kidnappers, terrorists, bank robbers; it doesn't matter - none of them ever planned on getting caught, just like Khadr... Hell, there is gun-action daily on the drug/gang front, should they too be forgiven for the aforementioned reasons?
On that note; Omar's older brother was exposed to the same influences by his family yet he never chose the path of terrorism.
