Oh yes, must keep herself relevant. Must stay in the spotlight, the ability to charge those big fees for when she attempts to appear that she has independent critical thought.
There's no downside for Palin; everyone thinks she's an idiot already, there's nothing for her to lose, she's not even a candidate.

What's next? Will Ann Coulter and other right wing pseudo-intellectuals be lining up the challenge Obama? Quite frankly I suspect that the President of the United States has better things to do than engage in debates with people that are not remotely close to his intellectual equal.

Don't be catty, Breezy: we can admit Palin is an attractive woman and still not find in merit in her politics (such as they are). When I was single, I would have slept with her, had the chance been there. I wouldn't have been interested in hearing most of what she had to say, but I would have slept with her.
As for the rest, I'm with those who stated there is nothing for Obama to gain by debating her: with her grasp of politics, it would be equivalent to her bringing a nerf bat to a gun fight... and those who support her wouldn't admit the defeat when it stared them in the face (her male supporters would probably be staring at her cleavage

Both brilliant.
One is a showman, the other corrupt and crazy, but their intelligence is not in doubt, nor is their ability to "think outside the box".
I don't think Obama ever had an original thought in his life.
Nor is their ability to rabble rouse, attack minorities, nor is their ability in doubt that they have made a fortune of this type of divisive behavior.
This is the problem with some of the leadership of the Republican Party they feel they have
some superior intellect they would like to display on national television even though they are
on the fringe of the party. Palin did herself in when she saddled up to ride with the Tea Party.
As for the enlightened ones who have put ideas forward that are candidates that is something
else again.
1 get rid of the department of education
2 rid themselves of the treasury
3 prepare to attack Iran another war they can't afford
4 being critical of one candidate because he could speak Mandarin
5 call Obama an elitist because he wanted to see all Americans with a post secondary education.
