One thing I will say, and that is in the state of Florida this fellow would have been arrested because we have a concealed carry permit only, not a open carry. Weapon can only be displayed when in use. No problem carrying the rifle in the open though.
Government doesn't run the economy, at best it benefits from the economy. I don't know why people look to the Gov't for standard of living. Can't anyone do anything for themselves anymore? We know full well when we hire the Gov't to do something, bureaucracy sucks up half the money spent.
Yep, quite often my grandparents would hear a knock on the door and there would be an emaciated man looking to do chores just for a bite to eat. Just on the T.V. news yesterday it was stated that half the country is over weight and about 1/4 are obese. Yep, she's tough times! :lol:
The hard times lasted until after wwII, I still have a book of ration coupons in my possession to prove it......

What the Panthers did make major headlines as well. Perhaps you missed it or forgot about it. Anyways, like I wrote before, it's good to see that all are in agreement that everyone has access to the same 2d Amendment solutions. And that means everyone. The fact that OWS refused to use it is the real reason why it is a failure - mind you, I agree it is a failure in that it claims to represent 99% of the population but offers no proof. One last point: OWS has been called racist and communist. But all that's besides the point.
It has major influence on the economy. By expansion and contraction of the money supply (which regulates inflation) and setting the interest rates (which controls available credit) they are the biggest single factor in how the economic climate changes.
They lie to us about budgets and national debt in an attempt to keep people thinking life is good but really almost all government spending these days is with money borrowed from the international banking cabal. If we all put $1000/yr straight towards the national debt (not deficit but debt) your great grandchildren's great grandchildren would still owe.
Budgets are just money aimed at a moving target and our demands. Do you want fire protection, police protection, health services, library services, wild life and conservation services, your kids education? It's not the "Government", Nick it's yours and my demands!

I'll take everything except the wildlife conservation thanks.
I don't remember demanding they spend millions of dollars taking each other out for dinner or 3 martini lunches. I never demanded they have town cars with drivers. I demand smart cars and they pay their own gas.
Point is they spend billions a year on things nobody wants and they spend the rest like its not their money. Time for this to change.

You've made it clear that you are a Union supporter and yet the Union fat cats do the same thing with the money they take from the employees they pretend to support. I don't support 3 martini lunches either and I know a certain amount of it goes on but what percentage of Gov't. spending goes to that?
The Occupy folks managed to keep their guns at home, or at least concealed.
