The bottom line is N.H.L. hockey as it's been played for the past 20 years is killing players, case in point Probert.

Correct - The NFL Players Assoc has started a suit against the NFL stating they knew of the dangers of concussion as long ago as the 60's and covered it up.

Look at it this way.....The guy is openly "Conservative" except in his clothes;-)
And he supports the troops....

Tell me again....that you're suprised at the reaction of left leaning folks in this forum:smile:

Now that you know that.....you will come to hate him too. i'm sure:lol:

If that's the case, he should stick to hockey. I wouldn't listen to that crap.

I'd say it's time people that don't want to see or hear him, stop torturing themselves and stop watching him. Pretty simple.

Sometimes it is not enough to simply not watch. They want to silence him so nobody else can hear what he has to say. Even the ones that enjoy listening to him.

If that's the case, he should stick to hockey. I wouldn't listen to that crap.

You don't have too. I would even doubt if you could even see him in the DC area unless you get Hockey Night in Canada south of the Mason-Dixon line.

Sometimes when I'm really bored, it's nice to watch him just to see if he's reached a new height of ridiculousness!

its amazing how politics always seems to find its way into threads.

is it actually left wing to support the NHL moving in a direction to make sure its players

don't die from brain damage, and move in a direction to continue the game in a better way, keeping

it much faster than ever before, but tweeking it slightly to make it safer, seems very sensible and

progressive. Hitting will never be gone from the game, and the players are bright enough to adjust their

games through out this season, and still play it at a very high and exciting level.

The old rockem sockem style hockey was actually boring, a slower pace, clutching and grabbing, unless one

only went to the games to see that style, but now there is more size, speed, talent, great passing and

athletes in top physical condition, without goons playing the game, there are very few of them left, and

soon there won't be any.

And that's an opinion formed only from what other lefties have said about him since you have never seen him.
Well don't watch him and quit crying about it.......you do have a remote don't you????
Should other people watch only what you feel is worth watching???

I take Don about as seriously as I take Hulk Hogan. It's all a front and the babies who let him get under their skin should change the channel after they change their diapers.

what a bunch of Wella's.

Wellas aren’t gay. As a matter of fact, they usually marry strong, beautiful women of the same generation and stay married for about two years. The reason they part (always as friends) is because after the initial lust wears off for these guys, they prefer to live like brother and sister while building a great portfolio and wine collection in an adults-only condo. I recall a woman I dated telling me that she knew her marriage was over when she stepped out of the tub one night and her husband asked her if she had been working out because, “Wow, you look great naked”; then, without breaking his stride, he continued into the living room with a glass of single-malt scotch. (Wellas always drink single-malt scotch. I think they read somewhere that tough guys do too.)

old style game.

not in the same way cherry said he did

that 'support the troops'statement always seems to come into it, as though because he visits the troops,
and good for him, means he supports them more than others, 'nope' not true.

Well, one good thing about Cherry- he likes fighters! (I always try to find good in a person)

So When the troops come back and suffer severe depression and other related mental illness because of the trauma they witnessed does Cherry tell them to suck it up too?
