I'd like to see some of the "good al Qaeda" offed in a similar fashion but who will they send to Ottawa to fill the Libyan embassy?
The moderate NTC civilians that have no affiliation to al Qaeda whatsoever.

I'm not sure why you keep saying that al Qaeda is running Libya, when they clearly aren't.

Terrorism will stop when they run out of Virgins.

CIA Assassinates Two American Citizens in Yemen
Obama Lauds Killings as Proof of America's Reach

CIA Assassinates Two American Citizens in Yemen -- News from Antiwar.com

ASSASSINATION (targeted and otherwise?) the current US foreign policy??? Bit by bit their actions get more bold and atrocious while the sheeple clap with joy.

It ain't going to get any better or smarter, it will just progress along this vindictive, aggressive, and arrogant path until it will be too late to change things.

and yet, so many are too tunnel visioned to see the larger and more horrific picture.

Legality of Assassinating Americans Considered
by Jason Ditz, September 30, 2011

It was far from the primary focus of media coverage today, but after the CIA assassinated two American citizens this morning in a drone strike against Yemen, there have been some questions about the legality and constitutionality of the president ordering the deaths of Americans without a trial.

Legality of Assassinating Americans Considered -- News from Antiwar.com

Should there even be any question about the legality of such assassinations?? I watched someone pose this question to an american on BBC.........and my goodness , the response was a bunch of idiotic excuse making crap., It was embarrassing to watch .

Once again........the US alters the laws to suit THEIR purpose. Just let someone else try it and watch them scream like a banshee idiot. .......a mighty hypocritical one at that.

When americans are denied due process of the law.......by their own country........then no one is safe from US assassinations and brutality. This is bad.... and yet narry a peep from the ethically impoverished US population. It's passive compliance to these acts speak volumes as to where the mentality is now.

Watch for more tagetted assassinatins via robotic mechanisms . After all the US is not there to see the results of what it did and believes the acts are of surgical quality.

al-Awlaki was on the Saudi spook payroll. One less wahabi to worry about.

that is not the point and you know it.

The due-process-free assassination of U.S. citizens is now reality
Without a shred of due process, far from any battlefield, President Obama succeeds in killing Anwar al-Awlaki

Absence of Evidence: The Progressive Policy of Imperial Murder
Written by Chris Floyd Friday, 30 September 2011 15:46 The president of the United States murdered two American citizens this morning. He had some nameless functionary -- who was sitting comfortably and safely at a computer console somewhere on a well-guarded, probably secret military base -- push a button. A missile was then fired from a robot drone buzzing maleovently in the sky over Yemen. The missile then murdered two American citizens who -- let it be carefully noted -- had not even been charged with a crime, much less tried and convicted in a court of law of any offense.
The New York Times story on the murders relates a number of accusations against the chief target of the attack, Anwar al-Awlaki. Assertions are made, mostly by anonymous officials, that al-Awlaki was "operationally" involved in terrorist plots, although not a shred of evidence for this "operational" involvement has been offered. (Another American, Samir Khan, was also reported to have been killed in the drone hit. It goes without saying that Khan had also not been charged with any crime nor was there any evidence that he ever took part in a terrorist operation.)

It IS a reality and I APPLAUD Obama for bring it to the forefront. Any homegrown Yanks that want to switch teams is going to get whacked.

Greenwald on Awlaki’s killing: The ‘Constitution burned and stepped on’

Greenwald highlighted the criticism that President George W. Bush received from the left for warrant-less wiretapping and controversial detaining. And he wondered where those voices are now to chastise President Barack Obama’s decision to order a drone strike to kill Awlaki.
“Remember that there was great controversial when George Bush asserted the power to simply detain American citizens without due process or simply to eavesdrop on their conversation without warrant,” he said. “Here you have something much more severe. Not eavesdropping on American citizens, not detaining them without due process, but killing them without due process. And yet many Democrats and progressives because President Obama is doing it have no problem with it and are even in favor of it.”

Greenwald on Awlaki’s killing: The ‘Constitution burned and stepped on’ | The Raw Story

What he is describing is how a society's attitude can be altered from constructive , positive, progressive to vindictive, hostile, vengeful , negligent of the law and humanity and generally destructive in nature.

What we are seeing is a malignancy that is progressing at a rapid rate and prognosis is more than just scary. Those the support these acts of assassination that are done so boldly now , are deteriorating in their mindset too. What is sad is that they don't even know it. They have defined their world into the bushism of " them or us " and "them" must be slaughtered no matter how it is done , how many laws and ethics are disregarded .

We are seeing a deterioration into something with a much worse potential than seen in history before. Sadly........there are too many who are not seeing it and still appauding horrific acts of inhumanity that denounce civilization into the dark ages. A new form of dark ages that have hi tech tools to destroy. But the principle of barbarism is alive .

IF the US wants nations and people , including its own population to be afraid of its gov't and its tactics. ......It is succeeding and that kind of fear is a form of deadly TERRORISM. But the supporters will applaud it ........until they have lost almost everything that used to be what the US was designed to be.

The founding fathers would be horrified. Just as well, they are dead and gone. They would not recognize what that land they called USA has turned into ....... gradually, incidiously ,

Too bad you haven't read the SPPs Soldier. We are all Americans now, here in Fortress North America. You may doubt that such a leader will come. There are many many good men and women in America, they will rise up and ditch the bankers and their puppets.

I highlighted in bold red the part I agree with.

See, we can find common ground from time to time. :)
